🍕 Toscana 🐥 Chicken 🥦 Cauliflower Chips
Small Print Pizza Bar is a quaint 40-seat eatery in Windsor just off Chapel St, serving up stone fired, Neapolitan style pizzas with an inauthentic twist. The name Small Print comes from the term small eco-footprint, they try to be as sustainable as possible and strive to be a zero-waste venue. The menu is vegan and vegetarian friendly and their rotating beer and wine selection are locally sourced. 🍷
Straight to the point - these 48 hour, hand stretched pizzas are delicious! The bases are perfect, thin yet hold themselves and still have that fluffy crust, leaving you satisfied and not super heavy. Unlike most woodfired pizzas, theirs actually have adequate toppings.
The Toscana was a very Mediterranean option, with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, red onion, oregano, black olives and a sprinkle of parmesan. We added some Salami to make it meatier (recommended). We don’t often go for a Chicken pizza, but theirs sounded delicious and had a nice sweetness to it, featuring smoked paprika chicken, red onion, lime, parsley, chilli jam and mozzarella. 🌶
The Cauliflower “Chips” surprised us, we polished off a large bowl very quickly. They were so crispy, small and perfectly seasoned, paired with a side of smoked aioli.
A fantastic option for your pizza cravings in the area, if I was a local I would be a regular....
Read moreI went to Small Print Pizza bar with my boyfriend for our usual Saturday date night, and let me just say this place did not disappoint!
We got the cauliflower chips and they were to die for- I don't know what was in the dipping sauce but it was phenomenal.
We both got our own pizza, and as someone who is gluten free- the base was so delicious and such a perfect texture. The pizza choices were plentiful so it was difficult to choose and the number of dietary options was nothing short of impressive. In the end we went with prosciutto and a classic marg. Both were delicious!
For drinks we had sangria and a spicy marg, again these absolutely slayed.
The best kind of place is one you just want to go back to, and this was one of them! The staff were so lovely and the food came out promptly. not to mention, the little blackboards that had everyone's reservation names on them was such a cute touch and made the booking feel so personable and special.
If the weather had been nicer, e would have loved to have chosen to do the picnic experience (just means we need to come back!) but the restaurant was cute and cosy. The perfect amount of classy, but casual.
Thanks again...
Read morethis is a casual pizza place which produces pizza that’s a little different compared to traditional pizzerias. Portions are quite generous, so adjust your orders accordingly! Some details on what sets it apart:
🌿Most traditional pizza places will be very meat heavy but there’s more vegan pizzas on their menu. There were only 2-3 non-vegan pizzas. Good news for vegans who have to deal with limited choices everyday.
🍕The chicken pizza we ordered was SPICY! Chicken thighs seasoned with paprika and chilli jam made an interesting combination. I found the pizza initially too spicy and couldn’t really enjoy the tomato base. when the pizza was cooler, it became more evident that the chilli jam complemented the tomato base.
🍟cauliflower fries?!? Yes you can get them here. Instead of standard shoestring fries, they deep fry cauliflower florets. Very crunchy and delicious, though it is best shared among a group.
The price point of $15 pizzas on Tuesdays was a huge bonus. While there’s no table service, the staff were consistently friendly. This place is also quite popular on Ubereats! Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Presentation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price:...
