Tried the high tea at Park Hyatt which is only available on the weekends. Although the seating is located at the lounge on ground floor, it was relatively quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. The high tea included a welcome sakura spritz, free flow coffee, hot chocolate and tea, finger sandwiches, pork & fennel sausage roll, three petit desserts, and scones with four condiments to pair with. The sandwiches has a good amount of filling and the sausage roll was pretty tasty, but the highlight was the scones and sweets which were well crafted, especially the mandarin & chocolate gateau and apple pie. For drinks, the hot chocolate was high quality using the Hunted & Gathered brand, and the calming tea leaves was soothing with mint, lemon and herbs. Beautiful Sakura Spritz to start then savory and sweets with coffee or tea. Then after devouring those, the scones came. Points for this as the scones are usually served at the same time and by the time you get to them they’re not hot.
