I am utterly appalled by the service my friend received here. Hospitality, courtesy, and basic human decency seemed to be completely absent during my visit. A simple request for a knife to cut his sandwich was met with astonishing rudeness by the server. Instead of accommodating a modest need, she not only refused assistance but also proceeded to throw his sandwich on the table with such disregard as if we were less than valued customers , but an annoyance.
Such behavior is disgraceful and unbecoming of anyone in the service industry. To be treated with such disrespect is unacceptable. I had expected a warm environment and professional service but was met with hostility and disdain. This incident speaks volumes about the cafe's lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and service standards.
I am deeply disappointed and will be advising others to avoid this place until they can ensure that their staff understands the basic tenets of hospitality and respect...
Read moreI don’t usually feel compelled to write negative reviews but this is an exception to the rule. I visited this Korean style cafe because I have a love Korean sandwiches. Do I regret my decision? Absolutely! The sandwiches tasted quite good (apart from the basic bread) but the service certainly left a very bad taste in my mouth! I kindly asked the girl behind the counter to cut our sandwiches in half (we were sharing 2 types) and she told us to do it ourselves. When the sandwiches arrived we kindly asked again if the kitchen could cut them with a sharp knife, she ripped the sandwiches from our table abruptly, gave us filthy looks and took them back to the kitchen. We she finally arrived back with our order she practically threw them back at us! This is unacceptable. Please do yourselves a favour and go to Three Drops Coffee on Collin st as this Korean cafe is exceptional and the sandwiches are flawless. Chef K is an absolute star!...
Read moreI came here with a friend and we ordered 2 different sandwiches.
We wanted to share them too so we could try the different types, and so asked if we could have them cut in half.
The lady said this was not possible but she could give us a knife. I thought this was a little strange but didn’t mind.
When the sandwiches came she provide us with a flimsy wooden knife that was unable to cut the sandwich. I asked if I could have a metal knife instead. They didn’t have any. I asked if they wouldn’t mind asking the kitchen to cut it in half for us.
The lady serving us made a huge deal about it, huffed and puffed and reluctantly went to the kitchen. She came back gave us a filthy look and threw our plates down at us.
Absolutely disgusting service!
You should go to ‘three drops coffee’ on Collins st instead. They have the best Korean sandwich’s and the service...
