Desserts @ Zero Gradi. . Also within the same food court was this branch of the famed Zero Gradi dessert brand. Known for their exquisite range confectionery desserts, pastries, beverages, and hand-churned gelato ice cream, Zero Gradi presents a delightful treat. . Ambience at Zero Gradi is shared with the rest of the food court, which means communal seating and warm lights. The array of confectionery desserts and gelato ice cream look deliciously enticing. . Service at Zero Gradi is cheerful and transactional, with some interaction and quick efficiency at fulfilling orders. . Food at Zero Gradi is focused on American, Italian, French, and Australian cuisine, specifically desserts. Quality is refined and exquisite, their desserts being among the better options around. Portions are decently sized for individuals, but can also be shared. . The Hot Chocolate (AUD $5) here is rich and thick, creamy with deep chocolatey sweet flavour. Dusted with chocolate powder for even more depth of taste, this hot chocolate was decadent, perfect for cold days. . The lamingtons here are very good. The Lamington Strawberry (AUD $6) is coated with chewy grated coconut, layered with a thin stripe of raspberry jam within the soft and fluffy strawberry butter sponge cake. This lamington strawberry has bright fruity sweet sour earthy nutty flavour, yum. . This feedback goes out to a female staff member at Zero Gradi Crown Melbourne, at the cakes/pastries section on Saturday, 8th Feb. This encounter took place between 6pm to 6:30pm. There were two staff at the station - the male staff was busy serving another customer. There I was, waiting to be served next as there was no one else waiting but me. I was trying to catch the female staff’s attention as she stood there doing nothing. She looked at me then looked away. I raised my hand up - she looked at me, she looked away again, and this time, walked away. My son who was standing beside me, noticed and went ‘She completely ignored you!’ At one point, she fiddled with a takeaway box. Very odd. An obvious attempt to ‘look busy.’ I ended up being served by the male staff, when this female finally entered the scene, stood by the register and had the nerve to ask me to move aside when I was still waiting for my order. I told her I was waiting so I stood my ground. She was ignoring me the whole time I was waiting to be served, and then she had the audacity to tell me to move aside. There was no one in line but me. She had zero customer service skills. The only thing she’s skilled at is ignoring customers. The male staff, kudos to him, was warmth and helpful. She, on the other hand, was rude, unfriendly and unhappy. Staff from other businesses in the food court area always served with a smile. Your female staff was unfortunately a picture of disappointment and appalling behaviour. She was...

We are regular customers who enjoy the desserts at Zero Gradi, but unfortunately, our experience tonight was negatively impacted by the service we received at the dessert counter.

An incident occurred with a female staff member of Asian descent between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm. When we asked why the couple ahead of us was served at a different spot than where we were directed, the staff member responded with visible frustration. Rather than answering our simple question, she appeared upset, and her friendly demeanor towards the couple before us changed entirely. This double standard was surprising, and it left us feeling quite uncomfortable.

To our dismay, she even asked, "So you still want your desserts?!" in a tone that felt discouraging. This response did not align with the welcoming experience we have previously come to expect at Zero Gradi.

We regret not catching her name for reference, but we hope the management can investigate and address this issue. Positive customer service is essential in the hospitality industry, and we believe this staff member may benefit from support and training in handling feedback more constructively.

Thank you for taking the time to look into this matter. We hope to continue enjoying Zero Gradi's desserts in a warm and...

First impressions of the place were pretty good! It’s nice and clean looking, quick service. The only thing they fell flat on was unfortunately the food itself. I ordered a chocolate brownie and sat down to eat it after I got it, and it was unfortunately hard and dry. I got through half of it before deciding to go back to my hotel. I had it sitting out for a while (maybe 4-5 hours?) before deciding to eat the rest because I didn’t want to waste it (especially for the price). And suddenly, it was decent! For sure still not the best brownie I’ve had but it wasn’t as hard anymore and less dry. An odd experience overall. I would be open to give another dessert from these guys a try only if I happen to be in the area again, but certainly wouldn’t be in any rush.

Just had a lady serve me (20:37, 30/09) with the utmost hatred. I literally witnessed her make a pregnant lady with a baby stroller WALK 3m to the cashier because she wouldnt be bothered. Then she REFUSED to take my cash where she served me, instead making me walk the same 3m to the cashier upon which she SHOOK HER HEAD at me handing cash. Wow. Honestly worst service I got since post-Covid in melbs (as a Melbournian who's been through three lockdowns, no less!). Someone either help her because obviously she's stuck where the sun dont shine, or put her on a performance improvement plan already!
