My Grill Friend — Restaurant in Morley

If there was a time where I can take back a visit from an establishment, this place would be the one. From the moment we walked in, zero acknowledgment so we decided to grab some menus and picked a table. Once I placed our order, the table number the staff member gave me could’ve at least cleaned the table number due to it being covered in chocolate for some reason. I noticed when walking to the bathroom, the hallway was so dirty, like it hadn’t been touched all day. When I got my Philly cheese steak, I noticed I was missing capsicum in it. Went to enquire about it, she advised that they ran out of capsicums. Would’ve been nice or common sense to mention that prior to ordering that. When I thought there shouldn’t be any other issues but we noticed that it took an additional 30 min from receiving the first half of our order for the rest to come and they still managed to forget some of our order. The overall experience was just unacceptable from the service to the subpar quality of the food. If you’re trying to steer people away from your restaurant, you are absolutely on the right track. Just also one last mention for management, not exactly a good look for your staff to be eating behind the till especially when waiting...

First time trying My Grill Friend having driven past a few times we were intrigued so headed in. Really good milkshakes! Tasted phenomenal, could have had another! Never had loaded fries So Loaded before! Chicken wings were awesome, cooked to perfection and the burgers were a good size and very tasty! Wish I'd had room to fit in a slice of the delicious looking cheesecake, but we were Stuffed! (And took home a doggy bag for later!). Restaurant wasn't busy, which is a shame for them, they really put in the effort and deserve more attention than they had at that time. Strange mix of decor. Feels more like a shisha lounge than an American style diner, but don't let that put you off. Funky themed boothes to the side make for a fun touch. Service was friendly, polite and fast! Shakes were works of art and arrived in just a few minutes. Presentation of food is Excellent and kitchen obviously aims to please! Pretty good value for money with all the food and drinks we had. Convenient parking right outside the door. We'll definitely be going back here again! Can't wait to try that cheesecake....

If you’re craving halal, hearty American-style comfort food, My Grill Friend is the place to be. Their burgers pack bold flavors, with plenty of options to suit different tastes — don’t miss the Sexi-Mexi sauce, it’s a standout. The loaded fries were equally satisfying, indulgent without being overwhelming. Beyond burgers, the menu also offers a good variety of pizzas; we tried the Tandoori pizza, which was flavorful and well-balanced.

To finish off, we treated ourselves to Churros and Sundaes. The churros were a revelation — wonderfully crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and surprisingly made without deep-frying. It’s hard to believe something that light could taste that good!

What truly elevated the experience, though, was the welcoming atmosphere and genuinely warm customer service. The combination of great food and heartfelt hospitality made our visit memorable.

We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Perth.
