Eat inn — Restaurant in New South Wales

So we've been coming to Eat Inn since 2022 with varying results. When they get it right, they get it super right, but when it goes bad........ The good: the people are friendly, the toppings are flavoursome, and the prices are decent. The not-so-good: Lukewarm pizzas Pizza base Forgetting toppings So lukewarm speaks for itself really. It's only happened a couple of times, but when coupled with a lack of toppings and doughy base it really sucks. Lately, the pizza base has been really doughy, and that's just gross. The biggest issue we've had in general has been with toppings - either adding the wrong ones when we've made additions (i.e., a different meat) or forgetting them entirely. We particularly like adding extra of the same toppings, so adding more mince ($3), or hollandaise sauce ($1). Sometimes we actually get noticeably more, but lately, not only have we not been given more, but the normal toppings have also significantly reduced and the base doughy (bad enough to not finish it). At this point, we're just over bringing this up with them and have decided to simply not go anymore. Eat Inn has so much potential - when they get it right, they're the best pizza around. I’m new in town and this place was recommended, so I thought I’d give it a shot.

The servings are huge and the food pretty tasty and the staff are friendly.

The only things I have issues with is the cleanliness and food handling.

The venue is a little grubby and the guys weren’t wearing gloves when prepping the food, they were touching the food and also using the register and eftpos machine.

This is a real no no in food handling.

The food delivery guys were also crowding the store instead of advising they were there and waiting outside.

I ordered fish and chips and salad and salad was adervertised with olives, pineapple, mushrooms, jalapeños and beetroot but what I received was lettuce and a few massive rings of onion. What a rip off. I think they wanna get rich overnight by charging a hefty amount for the food and delivering something which is not even edible for animals. And what's with dumping our food at the doorstep without even knocking? Teach your delivery drives some manners...
