Do you know, since the day this place on the corner of Scott and pacific st (as my memory serves it was 2010-11?) it’s been the same consistently good food and the coffee has me practically buckling over in caffeine fuelled joy! I also want to say that every time I am there (which is sporadic), the staff act as though I’m an old friend and I was sooooo touched the other day when they made me a free coffee!!! Worth $5 and beautifully presented in their artwork recyclables… 2300 is my favourite postcode and place to go back to when I come home to my place at the beach… thanks so much for making the effort guys, it is well noted and loved by...

It's always disappointing when a tried and true great coffee shop slides down the rankings. It's still popular but that's perhaps more attributable to the close proximity to Newcastle Beach and being at the end of the tram line. The latte delivered was too hot and lacked strength. I'll try again in another year or so but since the original crew have moved on the love of coffee seems to have paled.

The best cafe around Newcastle beach just down the road from the start of the light rail line.

Most people go to the small shop on the beach for coffee but you will end up waiting at least half an hour. There’s no wait here and the coffee is much better quality imo.

Same 5 minute walking distance either way but without the waiting and the staff were super friendly and not flustered like the other joint.
