My son and his wife booked lunch for 4 on Saturday 21/9/24 to celebrate birthday. They had flown from Melbourne (they live in Geelong) the dining room was not full but there was a function also being held. For convenience we chose the menu of the day $69 pp. Jewfish was on the list and we were told only 2 pieces left and then Salmon was next. Son ordered jewfish and I preferred salmon.- I was told salmon could not be ordered until the jewfish was finished so I reluctantly accepted jewfish. One person had beef, another flathead. Only 3 meals arrived - mine being a slightly warm jewfish. Waited patiently for son’s meal but eventually son beckoned a staff member for service and he at last received his meal when we had almost finished. That wasn’t the only malfunction - we ordered dessert at the same time as main - our booking was 1pm. We sat with the dirty dishes remaining on the table until we were the only patrons left in the room - waiting for dessert. Finally we saw a male in the doorway and caught his attention - dessert arrived and we left around 3.30pm. Phoning son next morning (as he arrived back in Melbourne) to thank him for birthday lunch he did remark “lovely venue with window overlooking beach, easy parking the hire car underneath but what a shame the food and service were so appalling”. That said it all - deeply disappointed as we have always had good service before at Noah’s. NB: booking was in name of Kevin...

Ended up at Noahs for Saturday lunch without a reservation and easily got a table for 2. Filled up quite quickly and very noisy but the views are worth the ruckus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Entree confit of pork belly caught my eye. Asked if it's crispy and was told yes. Still waiting for the crunch, top skin soft, fat layers not rendered. It was like biting into a gelatinous blob of jelly fat. Meagre amount of edible pork in the small square given. Pear puree with walnuts was nice but was so disappointed with the pork. 😞 Main was free range roast chicken with peppercorn cream sauce with roast carrot. Very tasty, no potato on the plate but that is available as a side. Friend had the market fish which was a piece of barramundi drowned in balsamic vinegar so if ordering I suggest ask for any dressings on the side. For a lunch @$165 with 2 glasses of wine and one coke, I suggest asking as many questions as you need regarding what you read on the menu to ensure you get...

We arrived at 2pm for an impromptu visit to Noah’s travelling from the Central Coast NSW. My elderly mother has mobility issues and the restaurant is even with plenty of room to ‘park’ her mobility aid.

We were attended to by two English waiters who provided friendly service however we had to chase up a waiter to place our order. We were disappointed in the food, we ordered the Oyster tasting plate however we received 1/2 Kilpatrick and 1/2 natural, all were small and dry.

The Crispy Targin Calamari was soggy rather than crispy, yet the calamari was tender. The chorizo was overcooked. The Harvey Bay Shell Scallops were also disappointing, being overcooked, somewhat tasteless and stuck to the shell.

The coffees (Piccolo and Short Black) were hot and tasted great.

The located and view is amazing, with plenty of space between tables and lovely airy ambience. The waiter kindly moved us to a window seat when one...

We waited 45mins for our main meals. A table that sat down 10mins after us even got their food first. The food had no flavour - gnocchi dish just tasted like 5 different ingredients that were stir fried together. The gnocchi had the texture of soggy bread. My partner had the market fish with sides, and it was just a mouthful of oily veggies. We also mentioned allergies, but the pasta still had nuts ...like ??? The only decent thing was the garlic bread, which was kind of stale. View was good but definitely not worth the price. Service was just basic.
