Rosina's Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Newcastle-Maitland

We were really looking forward to eating here on our last night in Newcastle, but what a disappointment beyond words. The young guy serving us was so casual, he seemed disinterested. I ordered the Rosina's special pizza. It arrived undercooked - the mushrooms were raw, the cheese hadn't melted, the ham and prawns were cold. I informed the 'waiter' who shoved it back in the oven without a word spoken! Then it arrived again and yes it was hotter in the middle this time, but now with a black charcoal crust. Again no word came from the waiter as it landed on our table! We explained we couldn't eat it because it was burnt, but he told us it was now cooked!! We asked for another one to be made and it eventually emerged and actually tasted delicious. What a shame it couldn't be achieved first time round. Poor service and rubbish experience....

Little pocket of love in Newcastle CBD - genuinely the best Italian you will find.

We have been going to Rosina's for many years - it is a truly heartwarming experience everytime, compromised of great service, delicious food and great atmosphere. It is easy to feel comfortable here due to it's homely interior. There is street seating available which we prefer as it can get warm inside the restaurant.

Highly recommend the pasta here - they have mastered simple basics - however my favourite are their specials. Anything with truffle or pistachio is always delicious. You will always leave Rosina's feeling satisfied no matter what pasta you order.

Highly highly recommend. Close proximity to amazing gelato as well down the road at G&G Gelato (owned by the same family!) for dessert for a complete...

I vowed never to leave a one star review !!!! Disappointed would be an understatement! Rude staff couldn’t tell you about the food because 5 min after a staff member had told me I could have a table she just needed to clear it. 2 regulars rocked up and asked if they could squeeze them in? they gave out table to them and told me that they had a booking and now couldn’t fit us in, even though I had heard the whole conversation. I was livid that they could be so rude. I’m Disgusted they did this to my wife, 2 little girls and I. Shame on you.

If you want friendly staff head around to the Thai. Their reviews are better.

Understand why there is so many one star reviews now. Obviously these guys know better than to listen to their customers.
