Let me start by saying I have been meaning to write this review for months.
I first dropped in to Xtraction at 2 or 3 in the arvo midweek peak 'Rona - while cafe's were not allowed seating. I wasn't looking for a coffee but the Slayer caught my eye, and being relatively new to spending time in the East End I thought I'd check it out. As I approached and saw the Mythos' and EK combo, my hopes were high. The owner was lovely and more than happy to talk coffee with me as he seemed to be packing down. He poured my friend and I our espressos and they were every bit what I had hoped. As a soy drinker (when not black) I was VERY pleased to see Happy Happy Soy Boy on offer.
I am now working in the East End and I do my best to make time to sit in each morning, and enjoy the coffee to its fullest. When I'm in a hurry I can order my takeaway on their app, and if I'm feeling indulgent their banana bread is my go to breakfast.

Read moreYou haven't experienced coffee until you have been here. They really know what they are doing here, perfectly extracted coffee in both espresso and batch brew. The sweetest and most divine pure coffee taste you will ever experience, You do not need milk or sugar for this amazing coffee. I have not yet tried their food yet but if it is anything like their coffee it will be great, because it looks amazing as well.
