I spent $40 to order a tiny 4-inch birthday vanilla cake with added on chocolate crunchy balls as the filling (which was an additional +$5 to the orginal price of $35), and was very disappointed to cut my first slice and see no chocolate balls in the filling. The rest of the cake had a few chocolate balls scattered around, however they were not crunchy at all and super stale as if they have been opened and left there for months and there weren’t enough for me to consider this cake having “crunchy chocolate balls as a filling” (it seemed more as if someone accidentally dropped in a few chocolate balls inside the cream and decided to go with it). The taste of the cake was very average, not worth $40 at all. The customer service here is also quite poor, I had to stand and wait for a while without being acknowledged by BOTH of the staff even after they made eye contact with me (didn’t even smile or ask me to give them a second) and just proceeded to ignore me while they were working near the cashier. The atmosphere of the cafe looks quite nice and is well decorated and the cake was presented nicely and looked like the picture that they uploaded on the website. Overall, I think you could consider this place if you are looking for a place to sit down and have a nice vibe or want a nice looking cake. However I do think this place is quite overpriced with an average quality, average tasting cakes (disappointing in my case with the chocolate balls which I had to pay additional for), and poor service. Hopefully they conduct more staff training sessions and better quality control...
