Museum of Perth — Attraction in Bruce Rock

Incorporated body that has rented a couple of floors in an old building and according to staff borrowed some old car stuff from whiteman park to set up a display. the second floor there is a room filled with people who are forced work unpaid to digitalise documents so the museum of perth can get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, 420k profit last financial year I hear. I asked if it was a fake museum and was told if I come back they will call the police! very protective of their racket. This place claim to be a museum, but it is just a place for work for the dole people, the museum part is just a front, no real museum, 80% of the income of this place come from the government, aka,work for the dole, I asked a Indian lady who said she worked there, i asked her about it, and she asked me to leave the building, I was just asking for information, then I seen they are using the work for the dole people carrying books/ timber up to London court, I ask the people doin this and they said they are used for manual labor all the time helping some owner of a book store in London court, this whole place...

Visited the 'new' museum today and found myself largely underwhelmed and slightly disappointed. Overall, in my opinion it is a downgrade from the old building. While it is a nicer building it has lost a lot of what made perth museum special. I found that while being a larger building it seemed somewhat empty. It was also somewhat thrown together finding it hard to navigate and making seem like a jumbled mess of random things.
