Johnny Fox’s — Restaurant in Northbridge

First of all, we apologize for taking forever to review your joint, better late than never hehe.

So we hosted our wedding at Johnny Fox Venue back in December 2023, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect, thanks in large part to the incredible help of Annelies.

The venue itself is stunning (we booked the 'Georgie's Parlour' to host around 50 guests). We decorated the venue ourselves, which we didn't mind. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we had to provide everything (some basic things like white table covers and such) because the venue only provided tables, chairs, food, and cutlery. But despite that, our day ended beautifully. The food was exceptionally delicious, exceeding all our expectations and delighting our guests. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Our meals were:

Starters: Soup of the day (gfo, veg, dfo) + Smoked Salmon Boxty

Mains: Bangers & Mash, pork sausages, mashed potato, green peas, onion, gravy + Irish Chicken Curry, half ‘n half with rice and chips (vo, df)

What truly set Johnny Fox Venue apart was the amazing staff. Every member of the team was friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring that our day went smoothly and without a hitch. They made us feel welcomed and well cared for, which added to the joy and celebration of our wedding.

Ive been using this venue from time to time for my Dinner as its local enough and convenient for where I live . It seems to be growing in strength as the food as of late has been superb, like many places in its early days it has wobbled from time to time but the Chefs and the Team are nailing it now , The Bangers and Mash are to die for , Daily specials have you literally not knowing what to pick , The Parmie Special is well worth a visit in for , it’s massive and a bargain in price , The new menu looks great and when ever I bring guest to this place from out of town they don’t stop raving about how good the Joint is, The staff are very friendly and helpful, Keep up the good work guys look forward to trying the New menu , The Battered Sausages were unreal with the curry Sauce and The Steak Sandwich was nice , maybe could be slightly a thicker cut of meat , but still nice and well...
