The food was very bland and the waitress/manager is shockingly rude and condescending.
I came with a group so we were able to try a few different dishes and none of them were great. Lacked flavour in general.
They also tried to overcharge us on the bill and thought we wouldn't notice as we were drinking.
At the end of our dinner, the manager felt it was appropriate to berate our entire group as she was wiping down the table. I'm unsure what the point of this was other than telling us off for drinking (although the restaurant is BYO). It was very inappropriate and she was complaining that this is what she gets for working in hospitality. I later found out from others in our group that she was making snide comments the entire night like telling us to make sure we don't throw up in the toilet. And when a few of us were in the bathroom, she commented to another in our group that god knows what they are doing in there... We are a group of full time working adults and married couples but I believe she thought we were much younger as she was extremely condescending and spoke to us like children. For the record, none of us threw up, and we didn't even make a mess other than one drink spilled on the table.
The ambience is nonexistent with no music and place is very dingy and grimy.
Not a single redeeming quality. Save your...

However, the texture that I was expecting from this eatery stall didn't happen. I'm surprised at how small the stewed pork belly rice is. (Please see the attached video.) To be honest, I didn't really enjoy eating this. You can either skip this dish or try it and let me know how you like it. Lastly, I highly recommend the marmite chicken bao! Even though the chicken is cripsy, it goes well with the bao. Instead, I'd go back...
Read moreThis is my favourite cheap eats place to come on a night out or on a low-key date. The food is cheap, although portions are on the smaller side, so the best way is to order and share a number of different dishes for best value.
I used to really love the like seasonal brew/tea, which came either hot or cold. They used to make it but they don't have it anymore!!!! Please bring it back I love it so much and will drink 4 cups in one go!
Other standouts include pretty much any of the bao, and their nasi lemak is also deliciously simple.
On a busy night the service can be a little slow, and honestly it's a little sporadic at times how well they will serve you etc. But for a casual, cheap spot it's a really great option and I would definitely recommend it if you've got a bunch of rowdy mates with a low budget to feed before hitting...
