Went there last night and it was trash. We were going to let it go, but since I’m a foodie influencer and about to post this to my platform, maybe you guys should know what happened.
Started off with no staff greeting at all. We asked for a table for three people to the one staff with bangs. She said “okay” and walked around to look for available tables, and she just left us. Like WHAT THE ACTUAL F?? You’re supposed to inform the customer if there is any table or how long you want us to wait. Like literally, you MUST TELL US WHAT TO DO, because all we see are free tables. And if you come and tell us that they’re already reserved, then we understand — but she just left us. Another staff came, and we told him, “Oh, she is finding a table for us right now,” but the truth is she didn’t 😅. We saw her again serving food instead of coming back to us.
Later on, we were going to order food, but no one came, not even the two girls. They were chitchatting and didn’t even care about the customers. We were trying to reach out to another staff, but he couldn’t hear us because, of course, these TWO NON-THAI staff were talking so loud in their language next to us. They didn’t even hear us calling them and still interrupted us when we tried to reach out to the other staff.
Finally, we were enjoying eating Pad Thai, BUT then again the SAME STAFF with bangs who left us waiting and was non-responsive — she took our plates full of noodles without saying anything. We told her that we were still eating, and she just made a confused face, so again we told her that we were still going with it, but she just left with our plates.
We were starving but couldn’t be bothered to get our plates back anymore since even that staff with bangs and black hair couldn’t understand English. And next to us were NON-THAI staff speaking so loud, interrupting every customer conversation. There’s nothing that can change.
Mind you, we’ve been here before, and this is going to be our last time. Seriously disappointing customer service and low-quality...

If you’re looking for a true Thai dining experience, look no further than Bangkok Brothers Thai Restaurant and Bar. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt as if we had been transported straight to the heart of Bangkok. The vibrant decor, warm ambiance, and friendly staff set the stage for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening.
The food was absolutely phenomenal — bursting with authentic flavors that showcased the best of Thai cuisine. We ordered several dishes to share, including the classic Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, Green Curry, and a platter of satay skewers. Each dish was carefully prepared, with just the right balance of spices and fresh ingredients that made every bite a delight. The presentation was beautiful, and it was evident that a lot of care and skill went into crafting these dishes. It truly felt like we were dining in a hidden gem in Bangkok’s old town.
The pricing was surprisingly reasonable, both for the quality of the food and the selection of alcoholic beverages. The menu featured a variety of cocktails and beers that complemented the meal perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the fair pricing, making it an excellent value for money.
What made the evening even more special was when the owner himself stopped by our table to greet us. He was accompanied by his family and took the time to chat and ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. His genuine hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed and added a personal touch to our experience. It’s not often you find such a kind and attentive owner who is so involved in making every guest feel at home.
Overall, Bangkok Brothers is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a setting that captures the true spirit of Thailand. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this place will leave you wanting to return again and again. Highly...
Read moreAlthough the ambience, interior design, and lighting were exceptional, the food itself was disappointing. The dishes lacked flavour and aroma, and the portions were surprisingly small given the high prices. For example, a $20 Thai Basil Vegetable Fried Rice dish barely served one person. The flavours felt inauthentic, and even the papaya salad was underwhelming—its portion reduced by placing two large lemon halves hidden beneath the salad.
Customer service was equally poor. We had to request soup bowls even though soup was served, and I noticed the same issue at another table. The sizes of furnitures were impractical—small, round tables with semi-circular booths could only accommodate one person’s meal comfortably. If you ordered a starter, a drink, and a main, there was no room left. We struggled to enjoy our food while being cramped with plates, and had to remove water bottles and glasses just to make space.
The staff weren’t particularly welcoming either. While the venue had its nice elements, the lighting was inconsistent—some areas were overly bright, others too dim. Overall, the food was underwhelming, and I wouldn’t return.
If you’re looking for a better Thai cuisine experience, I would recommend Chounkin Thai, a small restaurant across Barrack Street. They offer more authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and outstanding service. (P.S. Not an ambassador—just a genuine fan of...
