Honestly, just between you and me, the churros are way overcooked, and the chocolate isn’t even Nutella. I’m a bit disappointed, no disrespect intended — even the food trucks at any fair make better stuff than what you served me. Even though the person named Zaïd was a very good waiter and the service was there, unfortunately, the quality and taste were not. Actually, just so you know, the owner is aware that the managers are in on it! A few weeks ago, I ate at their place and the churros were overcooked! Bro, for the price I paid, it was honestly a scam. I let them know, then moved on. A few weeks later, I get a message saying they’re sorry about what happened, that it doesn’t reflect the quality of their products, and that next time I come, they’ll do something for me.
So, during the week I went back. You know what happened? The manager, a little Pakistani guy, looked at his colleague, they laughed in their language, and said, “Are you the one who left the review?” I told them, “It’s not negative, it reflects what actually happened.” They replied, “Oh okay, and what do you want us to do for you?” I said, “I don’t know, you’re the one who sent me the email.” Then he said, “Yes, that’s our automatic email we send to people who leave bad reviews.” Basically, they just wanted to see my face and tell me to leave. It’s insane—no other restaurant has ever treated me like that.
So, for that, you’re getting a negative review from my second account too, just to warn others. Be aware that if they send you an email after your review with their address under it, it’s just to make it look like they treat their customers exceptionally well. Don’t fall for it—they’re liars with no respect, and I’m letting you know. Now! Be careful with those kinds of copy-paste messages.
It’s a shame, because I had only rated you two stars at first, but with your lack of respect and that little trick you pulled on me, you just dropped to one star. A screenshot that all customers will see. If you don’t learn respect, we’ll make sure you do. You just turned a customer who was willing to give you another chance into one who will...
Read moreI recently visited San Churros and wanted to share my experience. I must say, the individual at the counter who took my food order provided excellent service, and the drinks were served promptly. However, I regret to mention that my overall experience was marred by the disappointing customer service and the manager's conduct regarding the delayed arrival of the churros.
Upon notifying the manager, a lady who I encountered, I was taken aback by her condescending and rude demeanor. This interaction left me with a negative impression, and I found it to be extremely unprofessional. As a customer, I believe that good customer service should include respectful and understanding communication.
To make matters worse, it took an extended period of 40 minutes for the churros to finally arrive. In light of this considerable delay, I requested a refund, hoping for a reasonable resolution. However, I was met with refusal and informed that the churros were on their way at that moment.
As a patron, I rarely feel compelled to write reviews, but the quality of the customer service I experienced at San Churros was exceptionally poor. It is disheartening to have encountered such a lack of professionalism, especially considering the initial positive aspects of my visit.
I sincerely hope that San Churros takes this feedback constructively and addresses the issues raised. It is my belief that enhancing customer service practices and providing timely resolutions can significantly improve the overall...
Read moreOrdered the “Churros for two” set (6 churros + 2 dips) for takeaway on a Saturday Night (21/09)
Churros weren’t really tasty, inside of the churros felt like it wasn’t well cooked… we chose the salted caramel dip but it was quite disappointing as we couldn’t really taste the caramel.
When we went back and started eating we then realised there were only 5 churros served, however we weren’t staying really near + it was late so we didn’t go back to the store to notify them/ claim our 6th churros. However, as we passed by their shop the next day (22/09) after having dinner, we decided to notify them regarding the “missing” churros. A dude attended to us regarding this issue with a not so friendly tone! He kept reasoning with us and had no intention to replace the “missing” churros, apologise or even acknowledge their mistake. The tone he used made it sound as though we were there to cheat their (1)churros! The service is super poor and I felt uncomfortable with his tone and attitude towards me, he could have just acknowledged and apologised in a nicer tone. He even mentioned that there was another customer who also received 5 churros but they did replace for them, but he does need to understand that we weren’t dining in and wasn’t living near the store, too much hassle just for ONE churros! According to the statement he made regarding the other customer, I strongly believe that it has always been a problem for them to serve their customers with one...
