Hula Bula Bar — Restaurant in Perth

Owner was very rude to a friend some time ago who wanted at the time to have a photo (As was the done thing back home) - he then attempted to berate her as she didn't realize he was the manager when she emailed to complain. He was obnoxious to say the least and accused her of being rude, and admitted someone had yelled rude things out at her but was allowed to stay at the bar.

Just now tried to book table from 430-630pm on a Saturday and was refused "Due a long standing policy of not allowing bucks, hens or party buses). And also noted they refuse entry as well on those grounds on the day . Discrimination at its finest tbh. We booked an early spot to have some food and drinks. Hardy a rager. It was up to 10 people. Imagine turning people away because you dont want a certain type of group in. Pretty sure other clubs etc get in trouble for this.....

Nice little bar, completely differnt to anything else you'll find in perth cbd. Drinks however where over priced and rather average tastingcompared to other bars the specialisein cocktails. Due to covid restrictions security where only letting limited numbers in and making sure everyone had a designated table to sit at (as you had to be seated whilst at the venue). This was no big deal I understand and respect the restrictions that where in place. However after a few drinks both me and my partner went to the toilet upon returning to our table, they had seated another group in our spot and discarded our drinks that weren't %100 finished. Didn't bother arguing about this at the time just went to the next venue as I didn't want to waste any more money on over...

OMG! What an experience! Hula Bula Bar is hands down the best cocktail spot in Perth. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to a tropical paradise – the vibe, the music, the decor… everything just hits the mark perfectly.

But let’s talk about those cocktails – WOW. Every drink was crafted to perfection, bursting with flavour, and served with serious flair. You can tell the bartenders are true mixologists who love what they do.

The hospitality? Absolutely on point. The team made me feel so welcome and added to the amazing atmosphere. It’s not just a bar – it’s a whole experience.
