First time there and will be the last. Got told by the girl inside to take a seat, so we did. Another woman brings over 1 menu for 2 people and 2 glasses asking if we wanted table water which we said yes to. No water came to the table at all. Then sat there for 10 minutes waiting for her to come back and take our order. Mind you there was only 6 other people dining. Finally I went inside and the young girl says you have to order at the counter. Why didnāt the waitress advise us of this when she gave us the menu? When our food arrived the waitress stood at our table with 2 plates of food and asked āwho has the eggs Benedict with bacon? The fact was she didnāt have to ask that question because the were both exactly the sameā¦.. then as she placed the plate in front of me her thumb smeared the balsamic sauce garnish on the plateā¦ā¦ then when my kids toastie came out, I opened it to cool down the tomato only to find the tomato was āfridge cold and the cheese was not melted. I took it back inside to get a refund and was blown away at $13 she gave back. $13 for 2 pieces Iāve over toasted bread, cold cheese and tomato and a sliver of ham. Also, my smoothie was not a smoothie, it was various juices blended together to make it frothy on the top. I am not happy and I will not be returning and I will not recommend to anyoneā¦ā¦. We ordered to a table which got stolen while we were ordering so we found a new one and informed the man who took our order of this change and he said he will let the other staff know. Our food came out before our drinks and when we told the older blonde lady that we still havent got our drinks yet and told her what we ordered we explained that we had to move as someone stole our table and she got cranky and rude and said "that's why we get confused" and when we told her we informed the staff of our change she rolled her eyes at us and walked away. When my drinks came out I asked for a steak knife to cut through the sour dough the same old lady replied with "what cant you cut through it?" In a very rude manner. As someone who works in hospitality I know this is not how customers should be treated and this made the experience terrible and we did not feel welcome. Seemingly, our mains for breakfast were forgotten. After waiting a full hour and 10 mins after ordering, we asked what was going on - for staff to say "we made the order within 15 minutes and we walked around the tables and no one claimed it". I'm unsure what the point was telling them which table we were seated upon ordering if this is the protocol. Personally, I never saw wait staff walking aimlessly with plates, if I had I certainly would of waived them over! They were apologetic but it was too late, the hangries had set in!
