Thankyou to the lovely staff member who fixed a custom drink and made it perfect 👌 the sauce with the steak is perfection theres nothing like it anywhere else and I'd encourage others to give it a try you won't be disappointed. The Italian in me for whatever reason didn't feel not like steak for the choice when going to such a lovely Italian restaurant so while away, I got a taste of it though and had to come back a few night later and my friend and I both ordered it it was that good. They got their perfect cocktail again, and I had the most delicious house cocktail. Thankyou it's was all delicious and perfect. All of the food was amazing, but that steak and sauce 🤌

All of the staff were perfect level of kind and courteous with attention to detail and making sure everything ok while being helpful. As an ambulatory wheelchair user who uses a powerchair, it is often a nightmare going one for meals. I never know how staff will react to needing to make room for a large power chair and it "being in the way" for the first time in a long time I felt normal again despite being in my chair they just made adjustments and didn't change tone of voice, show it on their faces or any other way no annoyance at having to move things. Thankyou! Being able to just have dinner and enjoys it and not worry made it all the more perfect it should be standard but it isn't hence my writing all this, all the staff did all the right things please keep it up. Please keep being a safe and welcoming place for wheelchair/powerchair users there arent alot of safe places.

I'm also having to eat gluten loved how gluten free friendly the menu was! I ordered their gluten free carbonara takeaway the first night then when going back a few nights later got it again because it was absolute divine creamy heaven 🤤

(I can not comment on the bathroom and if it is WC friendly as I never used...

We loved our dining experience at Amici.

There was a feeling that we were entering a special place from the moment when walked in. We were visiting from out of town, but we sensed, for the locals, this was their go-to local restaurant. The modern decor provided well-arranged COVID safe tables, and we had an excellent table for two near the window. Being located at a busy Caloundra intersection, views are not what you go to this place for.

I am sure you will peruse the menu online, so I won’t describe the dishes other than to say the menu is extensive, and you will find it challenging to make your final choice. You can select from traditional Italian mains such as chicken dishes, pasta, risottos and a vast pizza range. I am sure locals would go back several times to taste the dishes on offer.

Your menu choices can take a while if you haven’t read ahead, so ask the waiter to come back if you are hesitating. The staff and very attentive and you may need more time.

We started with the risotto balls and lemon coconut chilli octopus, and garlic bread to share. All three were served on a wooden platter which I thought was an excellent way to present them and share. All three exhibited the subtle flavours of the dish and did not disappoint.

Our main courses were Fettucine al Bacio - prawns, mushrooms, garlic in cream with a touch of Napoli sauce. This was a fantastic taste combination, and the Fettucine tasted fresh and smooth.

The other main was spinach and ricotta ravioli - sem-dried tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, roast pumpkin and baby spinach in a creamy sauce. Once again, a sensational taste, full of flavour.

We finished off with Bailey’s creme brulee and an affogato - both superb choices completed our most enjoyable dining experience.
