1877 Wine Bar & Espresso — Restaurant in Sydney

Just had the most wonderful breakfast at 1877 Wine Bar & Espresso and I’m still thinking about it! We popped in this morning and honestly, the coffee alone was worth the trip - rich, perfectly brewed, exactly what you want to start your day. But then the food arrived and wow, we were completely blown away. I went with the salmon eggs Benedict and it was absolutely spot on. You know how sometimes the hollandaise can be too much or too little? This was just right - creamy and buttery without overwhelming the dish. And those poached eggs! Perfectly runny yolks that made everything come together beautifully. The salmon was fresh and flaky too. But my mum completely stole the show with her choice - she ordered the corn fritters and declared them “the best she’s ever had.” Coming from someone who’s pretty particular about her breakfast, that’s saying something! They looked incredible and she was practically glowing while eating them. The whole experience just felt right, you know? Great food, lovely atmosphere, and that kind of service that makes you feel properly looked after. We’re already planning our next visit - and trust me, that doesn’t happen often! THE BEST AVOCADO ON TOAST IVE EVER HAD. Im a girl from Brisbane Australia and I came here 2 years ago.. im still thinking about how good that avo on toast was. Honestly im not one to write a review.. like at all, but ive been dreaming of this avo on toast for 2 whole years now. there's a cafe down the road that looks a bit more nicer then this one DO NOT GO TO THAT ONE. this is the clear winner. my friend had waffles here or pancakes I cant remember which one but she had said it was THE BEST she's ever had. Found this gem of a place opposite the Ibis Hotel where I was staying. Went twice: once for breakfast then lunch the following day. I only wish I took some photos to show you. Absolutely outstanding food, good portion size and flavors. The coffee was awesome. The service was quick, professional serving you at the table and pleasant.
