Extremely disappointed with the standard of food and customer service we received. My kebab is absolutely raw inside...the chicken and meat skewers we received were not on skewers, instead were taken out of skewers and it was dry and chewy 5 very TINY pieces... not reflective of the images they advertise on their website/ubereats menu. The taste was bland and I couldn't detect any outstanding flavours. We called the store and sent them images of our disappointment and they were absolutely unwilling to meet us half way and provide a refund for the low quality items they gave us. Their excuse was " the manager is on holidays, so we can't provide a refund"... As a result, we haven't eaten here since that day! And we have been going elsewhere to receive excellent service and quality food worth every penny. Really unfortunate this place has dropped its customer service and standards, as I expected more from them.
My Response to Al Barakeh Liverpool reply 17/3/24: Hi management, I have reviewed the correct restaurant as the records are on my ubereats account. I apologise if you take offence to this truthful review. My goal in providing this review is that your store will in future work together with your customers to provide them a reimbursement if your standards and quality of food is poor, this is only fair. So use it as a means to improve your quality of customer service and food. Thank you also for leaving a reply...

I've got a bit of a mixed review on this place. Let me tell you the story. So we went to get some charcoal chicken for dine-in. We wanted to get a whole chicken but they said that they would need to cook some up and it'd be a wait, but they offered us 4 pre-cooked pieces for the same price. I was on my lunch break and didn't want to wait, so I took them up on their offer. The server started getting the pieces together while we took a seat. Meanwhile, we observe two different Uber Eats guys rock up, wait a while, get some food, then leave. Moments later (and shortly after we sat down), a waitress came to our table and nervously told us that they'd "miscounted" the chicken and our food would be a 10 minute wait. Obviously, we don't buy that BS (like, I think they think they're pretty slick, but they're not), but what can you do? So we wait 25 minutes and the food finally arrives, piping hot. And surprisingly, it was actually not half-bad. The chicken was not too dry (juicier than expected), seasoned well, the bread tasted fresh, and the garlic dip was delicious. So I don't know, if the amateurish smooth-talk doesn't infuriate you that much, the food is...
Read moreBeen on the hunt for a new charcoal chicken spot for a while since El Jannah has massively gone downhill since they franchised. Upon entering I had extremely low expectations after seeing the chickens in the window behind the counter looking very dry. Ordered the family meal and received my chicken and pleasantly surprised when I had received a freshly cooked one. Not sure if I was lucky that they just finished cooking a batch of if the counter ones were only for rolls.
The chicken was extremely good, the skin everywhere was entirely crispy and had the most charcoal flavour I've had on a charcoal chicken. The leg portion was nice and still moost. The breast portions were a dry however it's near impossible to cook both chicken leg and breast portion perfectly. Chips were good albeit a touch too much msg in the chicken salt for my taste. Toum had a nice texture but could be more garlicky. Very good hommus however for a family meal they only give you half a packet of bread so this could be improved on so you can finish the hommus.
Some nitpicking issues however overall was happy with the experience and probably my favourite charcoal chicken...
