Dosa Hut Indian Restaurant - Liverpool NSW — Restaurant in Sydney

The worst experience I ever had. Went there last Sunday with my wife to try this new Dosa Hut Liverpool. Before I went there, I read all +ve and -ve reviews on google for this new restaurant. Initially my wife told to go somewhere else reading -ve reviews as lots of restaurants get +ve reviews from their family and friends but still neglecting her I said let’s go and give a try but it was my wrong decision. Initially I went inside the look of the restaurant was very nice. There were two girls on the counter with their proper black dress. One girl came to took our order and I ordered two plates of Vada Sambhar and one Beer. She replied we don’t have Vada as its not available right now. I asked her you guys just opened this restaurant couple of days back and how come items are not in stock. At this time, I already started thinking that I made wrong decision to come and try here. Not spoiling my evening, we then just ordered one Mysore Masala Dosa and one Rava masala Dosa along with one beer. I got my beer on time which was chilled but after couple of minutes Mysore masala Dosa came which I ordered for my wife. Mysore masala Dosa is always having red spicy chutney batter pasted inside the Dosa but it was not there in the Dosa which they served us . They just sprinkled some bhuna jeera or some other spices on top of regular masala Dosa to give a look of Mysore masala Dosa. Red chutney which came along with this Dosa was so oily. (See my image zoom it and you will see oil on side). Sambhar which came along with this Dosa was literally cold. I called one of the girls to call owner. Then one guy who was serving on the tables in casual cloth came and asked what happened? I said I need to talk with the owner he said I am the owner. Then I told him about the issues and told him to try touching the Sambhar. He said sorry and called one of the girls to replace and bring hot sambhar. Till now my Rava masala Dosa was not there. After about 4-5 minutes girl came with bowl of sambhar which was still not hot enough. My wife finished her Dosa along with that sambhar. Then my Rava Dosa came and sambhar was again cold then I again called owner and same thing happened again. He called girl again and said her to change this sambhar. I told to the girl to try putting this sambhar on your hand to see how you are serving cold sambhar to your customers. She said sorry I bring new one. She came after 10 minutes when I already finished my Dosa then I said to take it back as no use now. After that I want to the counter to pay my full bill & talk with owner. I clearly told him this is my first and last visit and I will not recommend this...

I.Did my 50th birthdayparty? I will never recommend anybody to do there. Parties there. Number 1 Staff.S don't know how to communicate with the people there. Number 2 they are so rude. They don't know house rules Number 3, I PAID for 80 people There was. 3 drinks of SOFT drinks. They put a drinks on top of the table one time. And they forget to refilled the JAR Keep on telling them to refill the jar. They're picking from another table. Put it on the table. We told them to go and get drinks from inside and then refill that went too. They don't have a common sense from where get the drinks We have to tell them.From where and how to get the drinks? That's why i'm telling they don't know how's rules Number 4 They bring the food and they put the food one time and food run out. I have to call them to bring the more food. I have to keep on putting my eyes there by telling them to bring more. Mo and every time I tell them to bring the food ,and they said to me wait for 2 minutes. I told the chef name Satish. Who's claiming to be a owner of the restaurant? As what kind of service you people have, this is ridiculous. People can't wait for another 10 minutes For another servee you have to bring the food one go because there's 80 people there. Number 5. When I said to the chef about the food and the drinks he got mad on me, And he just call off my party at 10 PM instead of 11:30 PM. He want to show his anger on my party. He just ruined my 50th birthday, Next morning I got a written note from him. It is written in black & white very clear that he's supposed to finish the party at 11:30 PM, not 10 PM. So I ask him to refund my money back. It was my best day of my life that I was waiting for this for last 6 months. To do my birthday I was getting ready but this man ruined my birthday party. Today I had a chat with one of the staff on phone to book table for 20 people , 10 adult and 10 kids so he gave me confirmation it will be 450 dollars and he said food will be sufficient I will make sure that for everyone.. I went to the restaurant to pay deposit he change his words after talking to owner “Ram “ the staff said only once we will give this tray which is not even half size of aluminium tray not to repeat if food finish !! Till we sort out this we want to try the food we will have for party which is so disappointing we decided not to go ahead for party with them as they keep changing their words every 5 minutes so no guarantee they will keep the order same on party day!! Look at the naan in pic all burn even in butter chicken hardly has 4 chicken piece that too not full container !! My kids where so hungry we call the restaurant the staff said so sorry the naan is burn I apologise and promise us to send curry and naan together again !! After that the owner call and change his words again and said I will only send naan now no curries!! Seriously what kind of restaurant has cheap mentality like this instead of apologise and give good customer service he keep talking and arguing with us !! I have been to all Indian restaurant in Liverpool I have not got such kind of experience in any restaurant so bad and terrible experience!! I will warn everyone not to buy food from this place for catering and normal food order waste of money and time as they will never admit their mistake till the end that’s why I am writing this review !!
