Macchina Liverpool — Restaurant in Sydney

Seems like they are making way too much money to bother catering to customers' dietary requests. Mixing 2 milks in a latte, which has proven to be most comfortable for my stomach condition, was apparently out of the question! The owner/manager wouldn't budge, I offered him more money incase it was a matter of resources or cost, I explained that it is due to a health condition, however he kept his foot down, firmly stating that he would never allow a milk combination! So much for customers always being right.. so much for customers dietary requirements and health requests being met.. on top of the ignorance and carelessness to one's digestive intolerances/allergies (which is quite bizarre in itself within the food industry), he wasn't even polite about it.. I felt like I had asked him for a shoulder massage along with that coffee! Worst customer service experience ever! Coffee lovers and those with special requests or dietary requirements, definitely not to go there, unless you like being told off for having a health...

Bought Avocado and feta on sourdough with a coffee. Coffee was good. Service was good. The food was good except for the black sourdough which looked like it was mould. I didn't like it at all, and not sure of the nutritional benefit but the look of it makes me not want to buy again, ever.. I have not been here for a while so didn't recognise old faces so assume new people have taken over, either way, I didn't enjoy watching the cook make my food wearing no apron or gloves and wearing a singlet as part of her uniform. I am sure it would also be a hazard working this way near oil and flames. This just shows why I won't be going back to this place for food and the quality...

Macchina Liverpool is an absolute gem! The coffee is consistently top-notch—smooth, rich, and full of flavor, easily one of the best in the area.
