I recently ordered from the el Jannah liverpool store which was a whole meal with tow can of Pepsi, reg pickles, U/G garlic, large chips, as well as cut into 8 parts. I made the order online and also call to confirm that I wanted everything fresh and the crew agreed to my wish. But instead I received a cold old disgusting chicken which was hard and not even hot, the hot chips were under cooked with barley any seasonings on them. The taste of the chicken was sickening I a un-moist crusty meal; even the hot chips were hard on the inside. When I arrived and had to wait around 20 minutes even though I made the order online. I was going to return it and ask for another order to replace it with but they closed, so me and my mother had to eat it which we dumped nearly the whole thing in the bin. The only thing that was really edible was the pickles and garlic dipping. A while after eating it we both started to feel extremely sick, which led to us vomiting it all out. It was an extremely disgusting, terrible, and horrible experience we received. For “legendary charcoal chicken”, I was disgusting charcoal chicken. All we wanted was fresh chicken to enjoy, instead what we got was hard, undercooked vomiting, painful result.

Went to the counter after 20mins asked the staff and was told we are waiting for more chicken to cook, after 35mins approached the counter again asked the same guy to cancel my order as I’ve seen ppl after me come & go. The girl calling out orders was confused and said that your order has been cleared, so they called for the manager eventually he turns up and approaches a lady at counter to sort out my complaint even when the counter girl told him that the lady customer is not the one with the complaint even the lady told the manager it’s not me he still looked confused so 3 meters away I’m waving my arms to get his attention, then he comes over and tells me “sorry we make mistake” I said give me a refund but he said “I fix for you” so I said to fix this issue give me my refund and comp me my order, he was shocked at the suggestion that he should give me my money and for El Jana’s stuff up to comp me the food, but Abdullah the manager said “no no I can’t give free food” so I got the refund and lift empty handed. May I suggest you get your hands on a McDonald’s store management training manual and put your store managers through it. Just be aware that they will SOMETIMES kick you out 30 minutes before close.
Not serve chicken to you more than an hour before close although there’s so much. If the staff are taking chicken home or something, just be transparent, cause we know it’s not for delivery, especially once the place has closed. I just don’t like people who lie, which they do time to time.
Furthermore, they “don’t have drinking water on the premises” if you ask them kindly if they can fill a water bottle, workers must be dehydrated. Mind you this is a lie since someone was nice enough to fill a bottle there for me last time as I went there straight after the gym. So either I’ve drank undrinkable water, or the person who served me last time was just lazy (they weren’t busy at all during this time with no one else to serve behind me).
It’s a coin toss with which kind of staff you interact with here. At the moment I’d say the food is worth it and I’m not deluded to tell everyone to not go here , but staff training is needed as I’ve worked on the customer service front for 6 years now and it’s not good enough.
