I had no intentions on reviewing this restaurant but after my experience I felt compelled. I can honestly say I have rarely had a bad experience when it comes to dining in Liverpool, but today was a great disappointment. After I sat down at my table, it was cleaned by the lady as it was cleared but left dirty. I ordered Chicken Wings and Pho which was very reasonably priced ($20 in total). The soup came out immediately with the usual accompaniments though the chilli looked old and dry and the slither of lemon was barely squeezable. The Pho wasn’t very tasty and had next to no gelatinous goodness. The wings came out when I was almost finished the Pho, due to the wings beings so hot I waited till I finished the soup until I tried them. The first couple were ok but when I bit into wing 4 it was raw!!! I couldn’t eat after that but decided to open the remaining two to check and they too were raw. I waited a minute or two, then got up and paid my bill. The lady didn’t ask me how my meal was, If she had I would’ve told her, but I was in no mood to make her aware of my disappointment as my plate had already been cleared from the table. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, and it’s fair to say I will not be returning...
Read moreI'm giving 5 stars with notes so you know what the product is. CHEAP, generous servings, genuine flavours, in a TIRED environment that desperately needs a modern fit out. The tables and chairs are stuck in the 1990s but strangely are spotlessly clean. The rice is spread out on a plate, generous amount but not as attractive as in a bowl. Mongolian beef was delicious but the presentation was as bad as the spread out rice. Generous and delicious but close your eyes. Pho was tasty with huge amounts of bean sprouts. Go to VN Noodle House for generous cheap food but not for presentation or atmosphere. Seriously with the good flavours and generous servings I'm willing to pay more. Just don't expect presentation. Their prices are as stuck in time as their furniture. Lovely motherly...

Got there at 8:12 ordered my food and sat down n they came 5 mins later with my food, the staff were so kind and very respectful. Prices are reasonable and portion sizing for me atleast was perfect for a young man like myself.
I ordered the #86 with prawns on rice and it was so mouthwatering just by the scent of it, the moment it touched my tongue it was game over for that meal I ate every last piece of rice off that damn plate it was so delicious. They take great pride in their work, both cleaning and creating the food that when you eat here I highly recommend letting them know if your meal was delicious because I did and they have such a...
