Macquarie Hotel — Restaurant in Sydney

Sad to say that a place that over few decades that I and many others within my circle would frequent has for the 1st time asked me to leave by a Kristina.

Reason being because I was reserving a machine that I planned to play. The reasons that I was reserving and keeping the machine are because I spent few hundred on the machine next to that and once my Aunt stopped playing that machine and offered me the machine is main reason why but also in the mean time was waiting for additional funds to be sent to me as I exhausted my daily withdrawal from another bank account.

Now to top things off the licensee Kristina asked me to leave and this being the reason " I can't have you reserving the machine that long as people want to play it" (even though not all machines taken). But yet I and others have had machines that have been reserved for donkey years by others without an issue for certain individuals.

Sadly this individual maybe wasn't the same kind (sad to say in this day and age same "Race" ) nor as much of a "regular" ( even though have been coming there since the 80's) nor maybe not of a particular social class (being a landscaper was wearing my outdoor work pants and had my sports bag). So it could have been one of those or all or even possibly other but not the reason that she offered me sadly.

Also to top it off even more the individual that then took the machine once Kristina asked me to leave was a fellow gambler who is of same race as Kristina and who was dressed better than myself at the time, who also spends money there gambling wanted my machine because the Major was at Max being 1k and the Fortune8 was at 2.5k ( meaning the machine is at a higher chance of paying 1 of those options).

So sad that a so called "Licensee" is conducting themselves in that manner (even though they have gone against and even breached their Licensee obligations of a pub/hotel that I never had a problem until now. Even though I and many others have never had issues for Reserving a machine longer then expected.

So bye for now and see you soon, I hope they play their cards right and be fair and reasonable to ALL!! It should not matter what you look like, what you wear, what you spend, what race your are not for reserving a machine longer...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Macquarie Hotel and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made sure that my friends and I felt right at home. Their knowledge of the menu, and drinks was impressive, and they were more than willing to offer recommendations.

The food at this pub is top-notch. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was a mouthwatering delight. The menu had a great balance of classic pub fare and some more unique, flavorful options. I was particularly impressed with rump steak, which was bursting with flavor.

Whether you're into craft beers, cocktails, or fine wines, this pub has you covered. They had an extensive drink menu with a wide range of options. I tried their signature cocktail, the Long Island, and it was both creative and delicious.

The interior of the pub had a wonderful cozy and rustic feel. It was well-lit, and the decor created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The seating was comfortable, and there were various nooks and crannies to choose from, making it easy to find a spot that suited our mood.

Given the current health climate, it was reassuring to see that this pub was taking safety seriously. They had clear safety measures in place, including sanitization stations and well-spaced seating.

The prices were quite reasonable considering the quality of the food and drinks. It's a place where you can enjoy a fantastic meal and drinks without breaking the bank.

Overall, my experience at Macquarie Hotel was fantastic. I left with a full belly, a smile on my face, and a desire to return. Whether you're looking for a cozy place to catch up with friends or a spot for a date night, this pub has it all. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm looking forward to...

What a terrible experience tonight and regardless of what could ne said further its just so disappointing especially after popping in during working hours and having a lovely engagement with staff and security for a quick beer and banter however it was piss poor stopping in after 9pm following following a power walk and it should be the only spot to go for such an engagement but being confronted by the previous welcoming Polynesian security chap who was now into prick mode with take your hat off or turn it around was just so sad, for goodness sake, if you camt allow a white business man to grab a cold beer for a moment and your security are unable to naviagte thsi moment then your I naughty trouble management. Id suggest everyone DO NOT GO THERE OUT OF HOURS FOR A BREW Its a toilet, i left my beer on the table and walked out, I even mentioned im not pokies security, but prick mode was in. Avoid this last spot in Liverpool its a toilet and with thr security, well its stupid is as stupid...
