Started with the Papdi Chaat. Very good. Then the Goat Black Pepper and the Baingan Masala. Left and right respectively on the near plate! The goat was very tasty, fully spicy, indeed. I will return for this dish on its own. Baingan masala, with eggplant, potatoes, and capsicum is a real comfort food. Fully cooked and easy to eat. A real contrast to the Chinese 'three fresh foods from the earth' - Di San Xian, which with the same ingredients produces a much more crunchy dish - after a quick stir fry. Very common on the other side of the (Central) railway tracks!

Ordered take away through Menu log. The food is disgusting. I wish the butter chicken was flavourless so I would not have this horrible after taste in my mouth. The Lamb was so oily, I could have fried a chicken in it. The meat was stinky and thrown out in fear of food poisoning. The rice was poorly cooked, the peas in the rice were frozen. The naan came in a translucent paper bag due to the amount of oil and grease. I would recommend you avoid the take away food. The food is so awful, it has compelled me to write a review. Good luck.

This is a surprisingly good place to eat. The food is awesome. Very tasty & made to your desired level of chillie hot. Very affordable. The ambiance is OK nothing outstanding but it is neat & clean. The restroom however needs urgent & tender loving attention. In the heart of Sydney's CBD, parking is difficult, however if you arrive by train to Central station it is an easy five minute walk from platform to restaurant. Friendly & helpful service. Highly recommend it.

Very bad service for home delivery, I ordered food from this restaurant for 30$ and ended up paying 45$. I clearly asked the person while placing order to bring proper bill also. But he dint bring up any bill, then we clearly told the delivery guy that we won't pay without bill, so he provided a simple note without any ABN number and hotel name. Later when we asked for proper bill he said that he will create bill of 45$ (15$ extra than the amount ordered), which is penalty for his multiple trips(which we should pay according to him). When i denied paying he started using abusive words. We didn't want to get into all this cheap stuff, so we simply paid back the whole 45$ amount.

But in summary the owner is mentally ill, he looses his temper while talking on phone. He also asked my card detail (card number, CVV number), when i denied to give, then also he started cursing me. Will not recommend to anyone to go and have bad impression of INDIA. Shame...

This is my best Indian restaurant. I am vegetarian, and they have the best malai kofta ever ( like proper delicious, doesn’t taste of nothing), and the most incredible palak in pickle spice I have ever had in Australia ( I ate this overseas and never found it again until this restaurant). This is proper good food.

But also if you order mild butter chicken and mango lassi for the kids, it will be as ordered.

That due to lockdown they don’t deliver to my address currently has been one of the worst thing about the current Covid 19 pandemic ( I’m a health care worker and wear head to toe ppe for 8+ hours a day).

I probably Google to see if these guys are delivering to my address about fortnightly.

TL;DR: this is the best Indian food in Sydney, and your hipster mate who suggests somewhere...

We went for a 6 course meal, voucher taken from Grouponwhich had the following things we could choose both veg & non veg: Papadam & pickle(mango or mixed) 2 canned drink 2 starter Rice for 2 ppl 1 naan each for 2 ppl & 2 gravy 2 Dessert

So we ordered papdi chaat, chicken 65, tadak dal, bhindi chicken gravy, gulab jamun.. Out of which liked only the papdi chaat & bhindi chicken gravy.. Salt was very less for all food, which didn't bring the flavor.. Even d basic dal was not good, too much of ginger & no salt.. Naan was not cooked properly.. Thought at least dessert would be good, don't know why we got 1 chilled & 1 hot jamun.. Would not recommend or try again.. PS: the lady at service was really very...
