Barrel One Coffee Roasters Brookvale — Restaurant in Sydney

Went for coffee this morning and the service was appalling when ordering coffee advised the person on cashier that were sitting outside however wanted coffees in takeaway cups so expected that coffee would be delivered as it wasn’t busy. After a while went to check on coffees and they were sitting on the bench near coffee machine now they weren’t going to be delivered why not call my name that coffees were ready. When passing the question to team members the answer was you ordered takeaway coffees to we don’t service these to tables. This to me is a terrible customer service especially as there are a number of cafes in Brookvale would expect better cust service. The coffee also normally good and consistently good however today it fell really short don’t think I will be back until team are trained in customer service and barista making skills. Amazing coffee and even better toasted sandwiches! Top notch. Only one concern I have is the traffic around this establishment. This morning noticed two cars double parked outside so cars didn’t want to wait and passed at speed on the wrong side of the road. Also an elderly gentleman thought he would stop in the beginning of the driveway alongside the shop whilst keeping the car in reverse I think he forgot.. a few people walked behind but it doesn’t take much. A witches hat needs to be put outside the shop for the spot that isn’t a spot it is creating extra ‘risky’ traffic especially when a car double parks in front of it or just a little bit further up. And signage needs to be placed stating cars are not to double park at all outside. I will be discussing the with the council on Monday. I hope nothing ever happens but it is not safe the...

Barrel One! This place is an absolute cracker. Not sure how old it is but I feel like we have been coming here for around 4-5 years. Came here all through Covid and they held it down through that tough period so props.

Coffee is always terrific and made w attention to detail. The owners are really nice and all the staff too.

The Bagels here are also best in area by far! Always loaded with cream cheese and the trout is also a big winner. I every now and then hit the egg fold I think it’s called- pictured. But the Trout Bagel is best in class in my humble opinion. A few mates swear by the breakfast bagel.
