I recently visited this incredible place Baazar and Bar for lunch with my team of 8 chefs, and we were absolutely blown away. Our plan was to sample just the entrée menu — and wow, what an experience! Every dish was so good, we ended up repeating our entire order multiple times. That’s how addictive the flavours were.
We started with the Kulcha, which instantly transported me back to my childhood — warm, soft, and filled with comforting flavours. The Pepper Fry Mushrooms had a perfect balance of spice and texture, while the Frankie was packed with nostalgic, homely taste. In fact, every entrée reminded me of my mom’s cooking — clean, simple, heartfelt, yet uniquely crafted.
Chef Adwait and Chef Kabir, hats off to both of you! Your passion and creativity truly reflect in every bite. Not only was the food exceptional, but the hospitality was also on another level. Kabir, thank you especially for being such a gracious host. You made our lunch not just a meal but a memorable experience.
We didn’t get a chance to try the main course this time, but honestly, if the entrées were this phenomenal, I can only imagine how amazing the mains will be. We’ve already decided to return very soon just for that.
To anyone considering a visit — don’t think twice. The food, the flavours, the people — it’s all outstanding. This place is a hidden gem that deserves all the appreciation. Looking forward to...

We came to Bazaar & Bar and were blown away by the flavours and creativity on the menu.
The Champaran Mutton was hands down the hero of the night—slow-cooked, rich, and packed with warm spices. It just melted in the mouth. If you’re a meat lover, do not leave without trying it.
We started with the Raj Kachori—crispy, tangy, and filled with surprises in every bite. Street food elevated to fine dining! The Pepper Fry Mushroom was another standout—deeply savoury with the perfect hit of heat and curry leaf magic.
The Kadhi with zucchini-flower pakoda was so unique—creamy, tangy, and beautifully balanced. And the Spatchcock with fenugreek butter was charred perfectly, tender and flavourful with a smoky edge.
Drinks-wise, their Negroni was smooth and well-balanced, and the Curry Leaf Gimlet? Genius. Fragrant, refreshing, and such a clever nod to the Indian flavour profile.
The vibe was relaxed but polished, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. We’ll definitely be back. One of the best modern Indian dining experiences in the...
Read moreWe are huge fans of Sketch, but this is punching well above its weight of anywhere we’ve eaten in the beaches or Sydney for that matter. Small but mighty , unique flavour pairings that you can’t find elsewhere. Reccommend the fish collar and goat in particular. Wine menu is second to none and my husband commented that the lager is one of the best he’s had in Aus (we are kiwis so this is a big deal) thanks Leo and crew - Will be back time...
