If you’re looking for top tier Taiwanese desserts, BlackBall is the place to go. Huge variety of desserts and drinks to choose from, as well as choose-your-own and customisation options. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth, you can still enjoy their dishes.

The milk tea hotpot was the highlight of my visit here. The perfect dessert for sharing with milk tea lovers. Contains all the essential Taiwanese dessert toppings to be enjoyed after pouring the milk tea in! I did not add the sugar syrup because I prefer less sweet milk tea, but you can definitely add it if you like 50-100% sugar in your milk tea.

The shaved mango ice we had was easily a 5/5. I am tempted to come here everyday to get this. Generous serving of shaved ice and mango popping pearls (my new favourite), the right amount of taro & sweet potato balls, topped by sweet vanilla ice cream.

I might say BlackBall has a medium intensity sweetness of milk tea and the TEA itself was strong in flavour hence makes it rich in taste and aroma🫖

The signature milk tea hotpot has generous size of toppings, makes it so exciting to share with friends! As I mentioned earlier, the milk tea itself was not overly sweet, so it’s suitable for you who’s prefer less sweet milk😚💕Though I’m a sweet tooth so I prefer to pour the sugar syrup that they’ve already provided✨

It's always a bittersweet feeling when a beloved shop closes, but I'm thrilled to share that their relocation to Burwood has brought joy to many, including myself. While I missed their Hurstville location, having them closer to our frequent hangout spot in Burwood is a definite win.

I'm delighted to report that despite the move, the essence of what made them a favorite remains unchanged. The menu, with its few new additions, still boasts the same flavors, textures, and prices that we've come to know and love.

As one of my all-time favorite dessert places, I have no doubt that it will continue to hold that special place in my heart, now and in the future. Here's to many more delightful visits and sweet...
