The Barista was very rude indeed. I visited to this restaurant today afternoon the very first time hoping for a positive experience trying a different place for a coffee. I just asked 'where can I find the coffee menu'. He replied 'Wait this customer is before'. I was just asking to be directed to the coffee menu Sir. This is how you greet customer who come to your restaurant to be serviced?? Further to add, I ordered mocha coffee which tasted like a burnt coffee. Upon addressing same, the Barista rudely replied - I am working as a Barista and making coffee's for almost 2 years' He made another coffee reluctantly and kept on adding further comments to me instead of acknowledgement of customer concern. Sir you should acknowledge customer feedback first then getting into defensive mode and behaving rudely. This is not called customer service - the profession you are working in as a Barista. Not recommended at all for poor customer service and rude/arrogant attitude towards customers which I personally experienced today. God bless with your...

The quality of the food and the service is good, the front desk staff are especially friendly and comfortable putting in time to get orders right and make adjustments where they can.
The food and drinks are easily 20-40% more expensive than the local area, especially when there are little 'family owner' food and coffee joints just around the corner. The operation does have a very manufactured and commercial feel to it, especially with the 'app' and 'rewards programs' brought up alongside so much as a coffee purchase.
I would definitely look elsewhere for quality coffee, as it's both more expensive, and more bitter here compared to other coffee in the area, for a sandwich or a acai bowl, it's...

While I'm a fan of the food, customer service and overall experience are crucial parts of the visit. Unfortunately, I've never encountered such poor service before. Not only is this the worst Cali Press outlet I've visited, but it also ranks as one of the worst cafes in Sydney in terms of service. It's disappointing because I genuinely enjoy the food, but the service really let me down.
One specific employee is significantly impacting the store. To be honest, they would be better suited to a non customer facing role, away from direct interaction with people. Their attitude and demeanor are quite concerning, and it's affecting the...
