Deccan Flavours redfern surry hills — Restaurant in Sydney

hi , i had ordered two bucket biryanis from deccan flavors surry hills one chicken and one mutton bucket biryanis. This was the worst experience ever. Firstly, the customer service(Ahmed-manger)is the worst. secondly , the briyani ordered was not at all good, the rice was under cooked and the pieces were half cooked. upon asking the next day regarding the same they have handled it the most irresponsible way.. asking us to bring the last day biryani and they would re dum it or add the extra pieces. Is this the way to handle a customer complaint… in order for a good restaurant customer is the key… what good are you guys making by handling such complaints in the most ridiculous way. I usually don’t give a bad review.. deccan flavors was out go to from auburn and from lakemba . however, from surry hills it is the worst . How can you ask us to get th bucket biryani back just to add the extra pieces… this definitely neeeds to be addressed and moreover the price that we spent for nothing was an absolute waste. Attaching pictures for reference. If you are running a restaurant first learn to have good customer experience in order for a potential returning customer and have a good running restaurant. This is not a way to treat someone. I usually don’t give any reviews like this but i have to in this case because of such ineffective and such poor customer experience and the taste of the food from such highly standard restaurants with expectations. !!!!!

FYI the buckets are full and the pics are reference from the taste where none of us could not even take a spoon of...

I ordered via Uber chicken 65 and biryani rice but only got the rice instead. When i called them to ask for the chicken 65 they first said they ran out of it, when i questioned why i was not informed or my order cancelled they changed the story and said they have new person working there who made the mistake. They said to order something else via Uber and then they will send chicken 65 with it.

I ordered butter naan again via uber and when the ordere arrived it was just the chicken 65 without the naan i ordered.

When i called them again they argued that i had said i wanted 65, i tried to explain that i had paid for that already but did not recieve it and now had payed more for the naan and did not reciece it. They did pay me in the end my money for the naan via pay id, but eveything is not worth it.

The wait was alot, the food mediocore and and the service was awfull.

Stay away from this restruant i also have concers about there...

The most authentic Hyderabadi biriyani you can find in town. And amongst all the Deccan Flavours franchises in town, the Surry Hills place is where you can really sit down with a guest to be served up a really nice biriyani. If you love the ‘old Hyderabad’ look and feel (also akin to ‘imagine you’re in Sousa Arabia’ feel for all the sarcastic reasons) then maybe you’d like to take the trouble of going to Lakemba (not that you’re going to be in for a treat driving all the way there) but for the rest, stick to Deccan Flavours Surry Hills is my recco.

Haleem is awesome too !! And the best part, they are open till past midnight ! If you have nothing open at that hour and your tummy is growling, why not head out to have some...
