I went to this restaurant to treat my friends to delicious Indian food, and I was extremely embarrassed to see how they couldn't even make a simple jana jor garam the way it should be. Every dish had an excessive amount of ajwain, jeera, etc., which overpowered its flavor. The dishes didn't even taste decent, let alone authentic. I was thoroughly disappointed with the paneer shashlik; it was coated with a sweet chili sauce, perhaps honey or some other syrup. The roti was heavy and not fresh at all, the chicken tikka was hard and crusty, and the marination lacked proper seasoning. There's a saying that goes, "more salt spoils the dish and less salt makes it bland." I wish the chef had tasted his dishes before sending them out because they lacked good taste, salt, and flavors. We felt so heavy and bloated until the next day. I felt like it was a waste of both the moment and money. The restaurant is highly hyped, and I believe those who are unfamiliar with Indian food may eat there, but Indians would avoid going to this place. There was one waiter who probably fakes the accent , was very arrogant. As we kept asking him to take orders and provide water, but he kept himself busy with putting up tissues in the corner. Cockroaches were roaming around one area and I was doubting myself for having our food there.

Cozy Indian restaurant with a warm, homestyle vibe that really matches their “Home Style Indian Cooking” tagline. The interior feels inviting with classic wooden furniture, chandeliers, and a busy yet comfortable dining atmosphere. We started with papad and chutneys, which were fresh and crunchy, and the tangy mint and yogurt dips set the tone nicely. The chaat was a standout appetizer: colorful, layered with yogurt, chutneys, onions, and sev, giving that perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. For mains, we had a spread of curries, naan, and biryani. The fish curry was creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced a clear favorite for us. The lamb curry had a deeper, earthy flavor that paired well with the fluffy naan. The biryani was fragrant and came with generous pieces of meat, a great balance of spice without being overwhelming. The grilled lamb cutlets were another highlight, smoky and well-marinated with a nice char. The portions are generous, making it great for sharing, and the service was attentive despite the restaurant being quite busy. It definitely has that family-style dining feel where you come in hungry and leave very full and satisfied. excellent choice if you’re craving hearty, traditional Indian food in a lively setting imo

One of the worst experiences i have had in an Indian Restaurant. Every weekend i visit a Indian restaurant in Sydney, and i would say this was the worst. Firstly, zero in customer service, food was late by 30 mins with half a capacity of people. Secondly, when it is already late you expect it to be the right food. I ordered starters and main, but never received starters. The mains which they served was pathetic especially the kadhai panner. The roti basket had pappadum pieces in it, dint even bother to change the paper. Moreover, i ordered mango lassi and it was sour, i politely asked if you could change, and they said all lassi are same meaning i don’t know since how long they must have stored it. Lastly, when i go to counter for bill, they charge me for everything and when i questioned the person at counter is like i saw you being served. I am like please confirm. Cold’t expect less that time. Food: Bad Service: The worst Hygiene: would never want to eat there again in life.

This place used to be my usual spot for Indian food in Sydney city area but my last trip was an extreme disappointment. food quality was very poor. the staff lacked knowledge about the food. food did not seem freshly cooked. lacked authentic flavors and the use of frozen vegetables seemed to be the norm now which was the biggest letdown.

Went here again Oct 2017 and we were a group pf 6 people , got a table as it was about 2 pm on a weekday. restaurent was empty with just another one or two tables occupied with 4 people in total. we ordered the dishes which were 2 curries and dhal, rice, naan and dum biryani. we requested the dhal to have no chilly in it so out 3 year old could have it. the food came after about 20 minutes which i believe was to long as the restaurant was empty. the first dish were the curries and we were left waiting for Naan. the dhal had chilly in it and the little one refused it eat it so we asked for some plain yogurt which i was told they did not have. instead they offered me raita which we did not want. then the waiter told me that there was no youghurt at all but raita only . i then requested to see the chef or the manager who then came a bit later and i explained to him and he had the same thing to say . when i told him that this was the first Indian restaurant that did not have yogurt and also told him that Punjabi food is always eaten with yogurt be was then sorry and the yogurt was on the table a few minutes later. the dum biryani did not have any covering and was returned and redone correctly. there also seemed to be a disconnect between the staff and...

I don't usually remember to write reviews unless I was amazed by a restaurant's service and quality. Could not fault anything! Their service and food is top notch, and everyone should give them a try!

Long review incoming:

We came in with an odd request. I had ordered off Menulog because I had a Menulog voucher I had to finish, but I asked in the requests section if we could either dine-in, or allow us to eat from the takeaway boxes in the restaurant. Mind you, this was a request they didn't have to fulfill, I think it's reasonable for a restaurant to not allow this.

However, they delivered an excellent service. Not only did they serve us a seat and welcomed us warmly, we were also served complimentary papadums and a bowl of rice, none of which we ordered. Their service was excellent and there was zero confusions over the situation.

The food here is amazing. We love Indian food, and this is actually the second time we've ordered from them. The first time, we had Butter Chicken and Khumb Palak, and the second we had Goat Masala and Chicken Korma. All were amazing and we couldn't fault anything. The Cheese Naan is also so fragrant and buttery, one of the best I've had.

Edit: We forgot to take pictures because we were too hungry and everything looked too good. 😍😭

They've definitely earned themselves a repeat customer for the truly spectacular service and amazing food. You won't regret...
