The staff and the atmosphere were both great, but ultimately, a restaurant is nothing without good food, and that’s where Vasco fell flat
they ran out of dough at 7pm, so no pizzas (meaning the only available main courses were pasta) the pasta itself was cold. We got it reheated, but it came back cold a second time the side dishes came out after the main courses, even the ones that were reheated they also ran out of the chilled red wine. Not a massive issue but after all of the above, it was just an another disappointment to add to the list. though the starters were lovely, portion size was very small

Read moreBeen here for dinner a couple times in the last month and I would have to say both times did disappoint. Although the food was lovely and I did enjoy the funky decor, the service really let this place down, on both occasions visiting this restaurant drinks took forever to come plus also be forgotten and not delivered !! When I went this Saturday for my friends birthday they forgot to bring us one of our starters and when they brought the focaccia out the first time it was still partly frozen in the middle. We were informed when the we made the reservation that we only had an hour and a half seating time but was rudely reminded when we had 15 minutes left with our table and we were only half way through our main meal !! The food took its time coming out but we didn’t even have the option to have dessert as it took so long. The food was enjoyable and the cocktails very nice but the service massively needs to improve at...
