Dundee ARMS — Restaurant in Sydney

Had a great experience at the Dundee ARMS! Obviously owned by the Hyatt Hotel so it was bound to be not disaster! The venue as very cool and nice and cozy! The food was pretty good! Just a typical pub meal! The guy behind the bar was very nice as they where practically closing when we walked in but allowed us to grab a drink and order some food! So that makes the experience at the Dundee a 5 out of 5 stars as we where hungry and tired and this really did make our first evening in Sydney extremely positive and happy! 5 out of 5...

The most disgusting “supposed” chicken schnitzel and “supposed” barramundi I’ve ever seen, both dishes smelt completely off and rank, and tasted worse. Service from the manager and other staff was utterly non existent, no wonder we were asked to pay for meals upon ordering, as no one would pay for them otherwise. Completely appalling and horrendous, and given the lack of atmosphere and service, definitely don’t bother. Would give zero...

Ordered two Philly steak sandwiches for lunch on a Friday. Have waited 35 minutes and even enquired twice and had no explanation. With limited time for lunch waiting upwards of 30 minutes is not feasible for people working. Can’t comment on the food as I haven’t received it. ill need to leave in 5 minutes. I will not be coming back.

Update- had to leave hungry. Only saving grace, two drinks...
