Friendly and efficient staff Coffee and juice were lovely However, the food was beyond disappointing despite very good google reviews. A very minimal menu, nothing that excited me. Was close to ordering scrambled eggs on toast but went for the corn fritters. They tasted and looked like fried corn kernels with rubbery chewy "crispy bacon" on a bed of dry spinach leaves, no dressing. Very dry and tasteless. Like a few other people commenting I found the owner to be incredibly rude. I ordered a coffee and banana bread. Importantly I paid at the counter. The banana bread didn’t arrive so I asked again when my coffee was half finished. I separated a table from its neighbour so that I wouldn’t take up a table for 4. That annoyed the boss and he was rude about it. When I left he accused me of not paying. Luckily I paid on my phone and offered to show him the receipt. I tried to give him feedback at the door but he walked away....

Stopped in here after a Bridge Walk. Very unpretentious. What can I say. EXCELLENT 👍🏼 all around. From both a fussy tea drinker and a super fussy coffee drinker we were blown away. Tea, was hot, nice heated cup and perfect strength, wonderful flavour🤩.
