Good food and bad service.. Staff who's bringing food from kitchen to counter more interested in chitchat than serving customers waiting on counter to pick up their Web order already prepared and left under the counter. Irrespective of how many customers waiting for Pick-up and they do nothing at kitchen, they don't come out until they get full tray of new orders. If it's too far to walk that make sense.. But when only 2-3m tgat shows how much the staff interested in serving customers. Even when they come out they are not interested in waiting in counter.. Rush to go in and have chitchat...
Update on 09 June 2025 Adding this same thing happening here again and again Placed a order online. It shows as order will be ready by 12:04pm. I was there by the time and order status updated to "Ready".. Walked into the counter. Lady said it's not ready yet. When i told her it is marked as Ready, she replied saying take two more minutes. But at the end I received the order only at 12:17 pm. Do not update orders as ready when it is not even started to prepare. Do not tell two minutes when it takes another 10-15 minutes. At least there were 4 other customers...
Read moreThe last time I got a takeaway at this shop, I found that all the extras I ordered were missing and the spicy level was also wrong, which is not the same as what it says on the label outside. I just thought whoever was making it might have had a bad day or something.
I hadn't used this shop for some time after that. But, today, I thought why not give it a go one more time and tried again. Guess what? It happened again and was even worse. Firstly, the clerk got the order wrong and I got fries instead of a bowl. Luckily, this time I checked my order myself before I took it and asked them to fix it. I was fine till then though it happened again.
But, what I had missed was I didn't check it again when they gave me a bowl. I found at home that they missed extra Jalapeno(again). And the worst part is that I got sick after having it and it really made me write this review now.
Seriously, whoever manages this shop needs to really know that this problem keeps happening here, not only once and multiple times. For sure, I won't use...
Read moreOh man. I really want to love the Guzman chain. We visited the Darling Harbour venue last Saturday and the experience was a real worry. The young male staff member has a lot of potential with his friendly attitude but everything else was a let down. I've never seen a staff member making such a fuss about wearing gloves and now not being able to serve because he touched something, and he needed new gloves. It was all a bit much. The chicken burrito was cold and average. Chips average, we threw them in the bin. Ice cream soft serve.. okay but my son gave it a 1/5 star. It took so long to get our order, everyone sitting down were waiting before us. Luckily when we got our order, about 4 Uber picks ups came and a long line of people ordering food, so we beat this rush!
