This morning running late as I was for work, I was starving. I stopped at an interesting new sandwich shop, stared blankly at the menu and settled on a guilty pleasure. A fried egg and cheese sandwich for what at the time I thought was a over priced $8. The staff were scary friendly. bright chirpy and very helpful. Not something I was ready for and boy it put me in a good mood. Thanks ladies. I made my order and was directed to the side door for pickup. A great place to watch the kitchen so that was another plus. Now the menu said "Fried eggs" and I was a little disappointed to see my googies going the travelling toaster machine. I watched my buns slathered with molten cheese and two perfectly done eggs coming out. Ok not fried but still glorious looking. The nice gent at the window called me over and explained the yolks were runny and the watch out for that when eating this paper wrapped creation. A thoughtful gesture and so thanks mister.:-) But the time I got to my office the residual heat had cooked the yolks to the perfect (for me) JUST barely solid but still the creamy dark almost runny yolks. The Cheese was thick and oozy without being a mouth ripping scorch-fest. The bread roll. ( I love how Americans call anything inside a carbohydrate a sandwich, Its a roll people, a bun at best but its still freaking fantastic) was toasted and glistening with cheese oils. This "sandwich is now to become my breakfast Happy place. Eggy cheesy happiness. I'm sure my cholesterol wont agree but we don't talk anyway so who cares.

Basically what I am saying is for $24.50, I felt significantly let down
Regardless, if people are happy with second rate Subs and tiny servings, and paying top dollar for it, then they are more than welcome. I for one can do a whole lot better than this place.
Thank you for your offer but I would rather go elsewhere and spend $24.5 for lunch!!....just saying!! Original Review 16/3/2022 This was my first time at Harvey's however it will definitely be my last!! I am not sure how this place has so many 5 star ratings because it simply isn't that good. (Maybe they are paid or not real?!?)
I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with extra cheese and Onion rings and paid $24.50!!!! Has to be the worse $24:50 I have spent of food!!
There were only 7 Onion Rings in my order?!? I have had Philly Cheesesteak before an the bun was SO MUCH smaller and the fillings SO MUCH lesser.
In addition to the poor food and how expensive it was, it took over 15 minutes to get it!! I ordered my food at 12:15 and received my order after 12:30 (Order No: 137) So not only is the food not that good, but I also had to wait to be disappointed. (As were about 15 other people ahead of me!)
I DO NOT RECOMMEND HARVEY'S HOT SANDWICHES NOR WILL I BE GOING BACK...
