my recent experience at this establishment was quite disappointing, and I feel compelled to share the details to help others avoid a similar fate.
To begin with, I ordered a cup of masala tea, a beverage that typically offers a rich and aromatic blend of spices. However, what I received bore no resemblance to the authentic flavor I had anticipated. Instead of the warm, comforting notes of cardamom and ginger, the tea was bland and lacked the depth of flavor that is characteristic of a well-prepared masala tea. It was a disappointing start to my meal.
Next, I tried the bread pakoras, which are usually a delightful snack, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Unfortunately, these were excessively hard, resembling cement rather than the light, fluffy treat I had hoped for. Biting into them felt more like a chore than a pleasure, and I found myself struggling to enjoy what should have been a simple and satisfying dish.
Moving on to the khasta kachoris, I was met with further disappointment. These are typically known for their flaky, crispy exterior and flavorful filling. However, the kachoris I received were soggy and lacked the expected crispiness that makes them so enjoyable. Instead of a delightful crunch, I was left with a lackluster texture that did nothing to excite my taste buds.
The parathas, which are often a highlight of Indian cuisine, were equally underwhelming. They were bland and devoid of any salt or spice, making them utterly forgettable. In fact, I found them so unappetizing that I ultimately decided to discard them rather than force myself to eat something that offered no flavor or satisfaction.
Overall, not a single dish I ordered lived up to its name or the expectations I had based on the restaurant's reputation. The lack of attention to detail and the failure to deliver authentic flavors left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Given my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value both your palate and your wallet. There are certainly better dining options available that can provide a more enjoyable and fulfilling...
Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Lajawab and I must say it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. From the excessively long waiting times to the abysmal customer service, this restaurant failed on multiple levels.
First and foremost, the wait for our food was simply unacceptable. We arrived at the restaurant during a relatively quiet period, yet we waited for an eternity before even being acknowledged by a server. After finally placing our orders, we were subjected to an agonizingly long wait for our food to arrive. It seemed as though the kitchen staff were in no hurry to prepare our meals, leaving us hungry and frustrated.
Furthermore, the lackluster customer service only exacerbated our dissatisfaction. The staff appeared disinterested and indifferent throughout our entire dining experience. It was nearly impossible to get their attention, and when we finally did, they seemed annoyed by our requests. The servers rarely checked in on us, leaving us to fend for ourselves and wonder when our food would finally arrive. It was a clear demonstration of their lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
To make matters worse, when our food finally did arrive, it was a huge letdown. The dishes were poorly presented and lacked any semblance of creativity or flavor. It was evident that little effort had been put into the preparation, which was extremely disappointing considering the prices we were charged. The entire meal felt like a complete waste of time and money.
Overall, my experience at Lajawab was nothing short of a disaster. The long waiting times, coupled with the abysmal customer service and subpar food, made for an utterly disappointing dining experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to look elsewhere for a more satisfying and...
Read moreHello All, Went there for lunch. This is the second time it has happened where they have taken exceptionally long to prepare food. We ordered Ludhianvi Chole Bhature and Khasta Kachori. After approx. 20 minutes following constant reminders , girl who takes the order at the reception as well as serves food, came and informed that the cook forgot to turn the gas on to fry bhaturas. That was weird and shocking. After few more reminders, girl came with long awaited Chole Bhature. Bhature were not properly fried and cold as expected. Chole were bland and cold as well as if they are not fresh. Khasta kachori didn't even arrive. Not sure how much time that would have taken. We had to return Chole Bhature but didn't had time to wait for another half hour. Restaurant was not at all busy. I wonder when the restaurant is busy (if they are), how would they cope. We had started our Veggie food blog and if it was live today, we would rate this experience
