I must begin my review with a haiku: Bare walls, peeling paint Mongolian beef tastes true Bell from light rail rings Thank you. My girlfriend and I attended LINC to commemorate the passing of Jack Karlson of ‘Democracy Manifest’ fame. We ate a succulent Chinese meal, indeed. The rice was well seasoned and fluffy. The dumplings, bite sized, tasteful with soy and chilli sauce. The prawn toast, a little cold, but it almost tasted intentional - forgiven. Ignore the one star reviews - they’re welcome to walk across the road to McDonalds, or down the street to more up market eateries. This is true blue, fair dinkum Chinese food. I fight through tears as I write, “What is the charge!? What is the charge!? Eating a meal!? A succulent Chinese meal!?” Rest in peace Jack. 5 stars.

This is probably better for take away rather than eat-in. The decor is super weird. It's like a St Vincent de Paul meets disordered mum's Pinterest page. It's got mismatched chairs and tables with pealing paint on the walls and an odd collage of images from the Greek islands (maybe?). The food is ok, but nothing special. I thought the beef and black bean sauce was a bit chewy and needed salt. The sweet and sour pork was really nice, but it consisted primarily of batter rather than meat. I was fine with this though. It took ages to get our food and I think this is because they heaps of take away orders coming in while we were there. Overall, it was ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again.

Cheap cooked to order lunch. The price is nice. Very busy during lunch time. Many delivery orders. Good selection of rice and noodle dishes. Food taste is above average. Sweet and sour pork has too much coating batter, you get what you pay for. Maybe better to go with other meat dishes. The atmosphere is depressing. Nothing fancy like all other Chinese takeaway restaurants. Very dated interior design. Dimmed lights. Waiting time is a bit long during lunch time. Only one staff working at the front. About 20mins wait for dine in. Will be visiting again to try other dishes.

The waiter is always nice and welcoming. Visited few times, some were fine but some were food-poising terrible.

I think the dish was a deep-fried cumin beef with peking wrap.... however I should be aware of the heavy-seasoned and deep-frying beef was suspicious.

After having the food as dinner, I came home and the next day morning started have fever, nausea, vomit, and diarrhea....

I don't want to be disappointed and give such a low rate, however food-poising in not allowed and it is easily to be prevented in every decent venue.

The chef intended to disguise the expired beef under the heavy seasoning and the deepfrying cooking method is not forgivable.... criminal intention. That's why even I just live 500m away from the venue but I will never return....
