After following their IG account for quite some time I was excited to secure a booking for Mother’s Day. I received an email 5 days prior confirming my reservation for 9 people at 10am. On arrival we were told staff had not reserved a table for our booking & would have us seated shortly. We were finally given a table at 10.25am. They did not clean the table for us, after 15 mins of waiting we cleared the table ourselves. There was also only 7 seats & after asking for more chairs that never arrived, we had to wait for chairs to be available elsewhere before helping ourselves. We did not receive a menu until 10.45 & decided we wouldn’t wait for them to take our order but go to the counter instead. Once our order was placed we were told our coffees would arrive in 5 mins. Our coffees never arrived & at 11.15, 30 mins later, we noticed our coffees & drinks on the counter so grabbed them ourselves, lukewarm coffees at this point. At 11.20 we asked how much longer for our food as we had 3 young children with us who at this point had been waiting almost 1.5 hours for their breakfast. We were told the system had crashed and that they had not noted our order down & that they would start our order now. To be told almost 1.5 hours later that our order had not even been noted or started is absolutely disgusting to say the least. They told us 20 more minutes so we waited as we had already waited so long at this point. We had ordered 2 breakfast platters for 6 (3 people each platter), extra hash browns, fluffy pancakes & kids chips and burger. At 11.45 received our 2 COLD platters & a cold kids burger & chips. One platter was missing the top tier of waffles, & missing eggs on toasts. After 10 minutes we asked where the rest of the platter & our order was to finally be told they had run out of pancakes, waffles & other portions of our order. Upon leaving I had to go to the counter & ask to be reimbursed for the meals we did not receive. Not once did the staff approach us to apologise or keep us informed or advise we would be reimbursed. The only time we were advised anything is when we got up and went to search for answers ourselves. Had we just been updated, offered a refund or had their been some transparency this review would’ve been a lot different. The staff showed absolutely no accountability for their actions. Read moreI would gladly love to give this cafe a zero rating. Visited this cafe on 24th march to get a takeaway. I paid for my food then went to Cole’s for shopping. On return I was told the transaction didn’t go through, I said that’s Okie I will pay again. when I checked both my transactions they were both approved. And told the staff there I will call back after few days if the transaction don’t go away I needmy refund which they said Okie. I called back on Wednesday and told them both transactions have gone through so I would like a refund for one of the transaction which they said sure come back and manager will help me with it.
So I reserved the table for Easter sunday and went there with my family and told him about the situation. I showed the manager my both transactions through my app. But he kept insisted on asking for a paper transaction from the bank. I said why wasn’t I informed on Wednesday about this so I could have printed and bring it along with me. His excuse was the staff are new and they are still on training and we didn’t have your number. I didn’t want to argue with his stupidity because I didnt want to ruin my morning and left to go next door Social hide out whose service were exceptional and the food were amazing.
I mean what kind of level of stupidity this manager has that he didn’t trained his staff if there is a complaint they should always ask for persons contact details just in case if they need to call back. Also the manager was rude to me, he looked down on me as if I was there to do a fraud.
Even though it was $42.50 I lost, it was the low level of customer service and humiliation I was provided with this cafe in front of the other customers. No wonder there were hardly enough customers.
Note to the cafe owner- with this level of customer service the cafe will not succeed and achieve in future. I will never recommend any of my friends and family to visit this cafe.

Read moreI have been wanting to come to this cafe for a while as photos on google reviews of the breakfast platter looked amazing! Finally came here for breakfast and I have to say that I was majorly disappointed… we got the breakfast platter which was shared between 3 people, although the food was good, we paid $28.95 per person and shared 2 pieces of bacon, 2 slices of ham, 2 pieces of halloumi, 1 chorizo cut in half to make it look like there was 2, 3 undercooked tomato’s (that couldn’t be eaten), 3 hash browns, 3 pieces of sourdough with egg on top plus an extra piece of bread, a tablespoon or two of smashed avocado and a side of mushrooms. Also the platter comes with a dessert on top which consisted of 1 brownie (to share between 3 people lol) with a small amount of fruit approx 4 slices of thinly cut apple, 3 quarter cut strawberry’s, and a quarter of a sliced banana. For the amount of money we spent we would have each been better off buying our own big breakfast which would have also been cheaper. I was unhappy initially when receiving our platter, so I approached the lady that took our order and explained to her that we only received 2 pieces of bacon for 3 people, to which another one of your staff overheard and said “that’s just what it is” another waiter heard this and asked me if everything was okay to which I explained again and she happily responded by saying she will get us some more bacon (thank you) and she brought it out to us, however I still had to ask for the tomato sauce that I requested when ordering as this was forgotten. Overall, the food was good, can’t complain about the quality just the stinginess for the amount of money spent to food ratio, and the service to an extent. Probably won’t come back here...
