This is not meant to come off as a complaint rather constructive criticism to improve customer service. This is 2 weeks delayed as Uber Eats just has gotten back to us now. My family and I were ordering dinner through Uber Eats, the Resturant called us to inform us that there was no more sisig available. Fair enough, that happens. I asked if we could change the sisig to something worth the same amount and get something else but was quickly told no and to cancel our order and just re-order. I agreed to it, moved on thinking a full refund would be given back since it was what the Resturant told us to do, however Uber eats informed us that we were charged not refunded. Please keep in mind that these terms are used for a reason and mean two different things. I attempted to call back to get in touch with the resturant to inform them what Uber eats have communicated with us. It took 3 calls for them to finally pick up, I informed them of the situation however the person on the phone named Maria (I think) was very dismissive of the situation and just asked what we would like to replace the sisig with, at this point I got very frustrated as this situation couldâve been solved/avoided had we were given the option to replace the sisig in the beginning via call. So I kindly asked why they told us to cancel our order in the first place. I also kindly stated numerous of times that Uber eats werenât gonna offer us a refund as the order was cancelled after the 5 minute period. Again, the lady over the phone was very dismissive and ended the call abruptly. I then tried calling 4 times and was left to voicemail each time. At this point, I decided to drive to there as I couldnât get a hold of anyone from the Resturant. Got to the Resturant, was informed that it will be refunded to us and to contact them if we werenât. Given their track record, I kindly asked how we were going to be able to contact them if firstly we were left unanswered multiple times and secondly when they did answer we get hung up on. To their excuse, they were too busy hence why they werenât able to pick up which fair enough I get it but to end a call abruptly no! being busy is not an excuse to end a call. Know that yes you have customers in store but you are also dealing with paying customers over the phone, please make the effort to atleast inform us that you are busy and that we will be put on hold or to call back. Iâve worked in customer service for 7 years and communication is always key. By partnering with Uber eats, familiarise yourself with their policies because we had to file a complaint in order to get our money back as it originally wasnât going to be refunded (refer to screenshot) even though the workers told us numerous times that we were going to be refunded. !!!!!! Being Refunded and Being Charged means two different things, Uber Eats wonât refund us if they state that we are being charged. I can not stress this enough as we were being gaslit by Maria and another lady saying that it we will get our money back when we werenât !!!! Please improve on customer service and learn not to be dismissive as that is what we were met with in store and over the phone. I say this wanting this place to improve and do well on a business point of view, it sucks too as the food offered looked amazing. Know that you can serve well cooked meals but customer service is vital in order for customers to keep wanting to go back. Anyways, will be visiting another branch of this Resturant if it means never having to deal with...
Read moreThis goes to one of the top Filipino restaurants you need to try if you want to taste the cuisine as close as you can back in the Philippines.
I am not a fan of egg in sisig but this gets a pass as I am away from home. I love that the pork here was seasoned and cooked well having a good crisp. You can eat it as is or you can ask for a soy sauce with chopped chili as a dipping for a perfect bite.
The barbecue chicken and pork are a must-order. They are a bit on the sweet side of your normal Aussie barbie sauce. The glaze and the smokiness of its flavour are what I love about the dish. The meats were also tender so you donât need to be bored in chewing. Dip it in that vinegar-based sauce for that overall tangy, sweet, and savoury experience in your mouth. Best paired with rice or should I say, the experience is only complete with rice.
If you love rice, adobo rice is the perfect one partner for all the meat youâll order in here. The adobo flavour really comes out. You know itâs been cooked for a good time infused with notes of soy sauce, vinegar, and the aromatics coming from laurel leaves. The rice is also the perfect texture for the Filipino-style of rice.
We topped it off with an order of mais con yelo (corn in shaved ice with evaporated milk and corn flakes). It gets the best Filo compliment for desserts that it is not too sweet. Youâll like the balance of the milky taste of the shaved ice and the corn as your adjuncts. It gives a nice clean to your palate as you...
