Girls night out and we stumbled across this hidden gem a few minutes walk from Central station. Honestly we usually look for bars with good drinks and food is just something to keep us busy in between talking and drinking but… the food here was absolutely AMAZING!!! We only ordered a couple of things to try at first and then we couldn’t help ourselves to stuff our faces with more! Every dish was super tasty. Standouts would be the prawn wonton cracker dish, eggplant dish and surprisingly the ice cream ramen was so creative and unique but worked perfectly well. Dessert was super yummy as well. Stand out drink was the ethereal plane (I hope I got the name right) and they had Japanese and Aussie beer on tap. We had to meet another group elsewhere so left early otherwise I heard they have a live Dj playing too so unfortunately we missed out on that. The vibe here was also very nostalgic with game tables that you can eat off with Pac-Man..!! crazy fun moods..!!! Genuinely brought back childhood memories. So so soooo many things to rave about and so surprised this place hasn’t been discovered more. Definitely coming back to try more stuff!

Mee So was a chance find and a great one. The restaurant is located inside the Ibis Sydney Central. It is well located and easy to get to. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. There are a range of seating options for you to choose from. The colour scheme is great and works well. Upon deciding what you would like to eat, you place your order at the bar. The staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating. There were only two staff members both working behind the bar, serving customers and clearing tables. They were really efficient and service was warm. They worked very hard and even took the time to check in with diners to see how everything was going. I got the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. It was tasty, clean and fresh. All elements worked well together. For dessert I had souffle pancakes. This was even better than the main. Light and fluffy, soft and sweet. Again all the parts of the dish worked well together. I would definitely recommend dining at Mee So and want to thank staff for their great hospitality. I think it would be a great place for a staff night out, after work drinks or a meal out with family or friends.

Visited Mee So on a Saturday night at about 7:30pm to 9pm. Not too crowded.. but the main customers coming through are most likely those who are staying at the Ibis! MeeSo has a DJ mixing up a variety of songs from different eras. It was a chilled atmosphere with the music 🎵🎶 pumping in the background. The menu has a fusion of Japanese/Western themed food and a fusion of Korean/Western themed food. As my eyes were fleeting up and down the menu, I was mesmerised by the interesting menu. In terms of food, I only ordered 2 dishes. The crispy enoki mushroom and eggplant. I wanted to order the fries, but thankfully, I did not. The reason was that the enoki was fried to a perfect crisp and potato chip-like texture with just the right amount of crunch. Delectable and highly recommended. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The eggplant 🍆 was cooked with miso a d the texture was melt-in-the-mouth. It was soft with just the right amount of umame. This order was supposed to be a snack, but it was surprisingly filling with a drink as well!

I would highly recommend mee so!! i went just yesterday, saturday 15th feb, it was amazing and i will be coming back. The staff were all lovely, the atmosphere was perfect i loved the bar it was beautiful and the whole place was designed to fit a very fun, welcoming and chill vibe, it was perfect for date night, (the dj’s were also amazing!) The food was perfect, my partner and i ordered the corn ribs, the tuna mee so tacos, the big bao wagyu beef, matcha mochi and the airy cheese cake and everything was delicious, the butter on the corn ribs along with a the delicious cheese on top was amazing, the tuna tacos were seasoned well, the taco shell was delicious as well as the mayo it’s perfect light snack or starter, the big bao wagyu beef was SO GOOD, the perfect bao burger even the chips on the side did not disappoint they had a great seasoning. And for dessert the airy cheese cake was so yummy, not heavy at all and a perfect level of sweetness, as well as the matcha mochi, perfect mochi texture!!. We also tried the lychee mocktail it was so good my partner wanted to ask for the recipe! It was so hard to decide what to order we will definitely be going back to try everything else on the menu! Would highly recommend. Also the prices are perfect not your typical over priced sydney night out. Thankyou mee so for an...
