Pappa Flock - Parramatta — Restaurant in Sydney

I went hear cause I heard it is like a dupe for raising canes and thing is i never tried that before so I cant compare. BUT I GIVE THIS A 10/10. I got the flock box in spicy with 4 pieces with their original lemonade. OML the first bite of the chicken tender alone so good no joke i cried. Fr fr thats how good it was like the crunchy outer crust was SOOOO yummy. The spice was like a good amount of spice which felt like spicy but not like so much u cant enjoy it. The chicken was so juicy like u can TELL its free range probs lived in luxury. Also like the chips was generous fresh with the perfect amount of crunch to potato ratio and seasoned WELL. NEXT the brioche bread SO WASS SOOO GUD. Like the crust is perfection n usually i dont like crust soo this speaks volumes. The softness of the bread in the middle is the best combo with the chicken but even without the chicken its SO FLAVOURFUL N YUM. NOW THE SAUCEEE its yummy like for this already MICHELIN WORTHY MEAL its like the cherry on top. It creates an extra depth of texture and harmonious taste with the spicy chicken, toasted brioche bread and chips. Literally perfection.ALSO the lemonade is the best beverage for this meal like its not too sour n not too sweet. With each sip between each bite it provides a refreshing taste to the meal. The only thing i dont like is the coleslaw but thats cuz i dont like coleslaw in general. But it was very fresh and was the a great combo with the chicken tender, sauce layered on top the bread. Following on with the Raising Cane's dupes we came across Pappa Flock in Parramatta.

The Atmosphere was very busy, the venue can get packed if there is an event nearby, most other days it can be more quiet and easier to access. 7.5/10

The Service at the counter was very quick and not long after we were handed our food. 8/10

Chicken Combo Box

Chicken Tenders They were cooked and coated well. They were flaky on the outside and still juicy on the inside. The Original Tenders also need to be paired with the Pappa Flock Sauce. 8/10

Seasoned Chips The Chips were cooked well, they were crispy and well seasoned with a little bit of Vinegar. The Chips were good on their own or can be paired with the Pappa Flock Sauce too. 8.5/10

Buttery Toast The Toast was nice and simple. The Toast had a nice golden brown crust from the butter and was fluffy on the inside. It was also paired well with the Pappa Flock Sauce too. 9.5/10

Coleslaw The Coleslaw was pretty standard but simple enough to cut through the grease. 8.5/10

The Pappa Flock Sauce The Sauce started off with a light then goes a little tangy towards the end. It is needed to be paired with other items. The Sauce itself can be a little overpowering. 8/10

Lemonade Lemonade was also nice and refreshing, no real error. 10/10

Overall I found the food pretty good, between the Flappys v Pappa Flock I am not one to compare, but I'd rather advise to try both and see what you like. Personally these type of places are a "once here and there" I will definitely come back.

My sons were looking forward to trying this food, we paid a substantial amount for two meals on a disability pension that were ordered at 7.10pm and arrived 8.15pm. In the 51yrs i have been on this planet I have never received cold, yes i mean cold chips and chicken with a frozen drink that was melted. I contacted Pappa Flock direct and found myself instantly in a debate having to explain regarding UBER. My experience led me to ask some very basic questions. I was transfered to Ashley the manager. Well, that concluded the whole experience and topped the list of negativety. If you have a system in your business that the end user, the customer receives cold food, you must reimburse or deliver what you advertise. I will say it again because i was gobsmacked, cold, not warm when I presented this question to Ashley and what I received in return was common business acumen as a manager. Ashley had the audacity to hang up the phone. Well that's just damn right obvious of the intent and what felt light daylight robbery, it seems a fact how the business trades and obviously happens every day. If UBER is delivering food that's cold YOU "Pappa Flock" need to find another option. You will go ot of business. I have never left a review in my life. This is damn right criminal.
