HORRIBLE. HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR A CHICKEN BURRITO! Never in my life have I had such service! We asked for a table (three people) and they took us to a table by the window (back corner). After someone came to take our order another employee butted in and asked us if we could move tables cause there is a bigger group and they need room, so cause it isn’t a biggie changing tables and we hadn’t really ordered yet we were like no problems. This is when all our problems started! The “bigger group” was a group of four and we were moved to a table that sat four? No worries, they could have spread out more so with the table we gave up, lucky them. After a TEN minute wait we were given our beverages and began our nice conversations of “back in high school” catch ups. The time reached about FOURTY FIVE MINUTES of waiting for our food, we had to almost get out of our seats to get the attention of staff and ask whether our order was cooking or not, to which they replied “sorry there was a mix up, yours is being prepared now, it will take about five more minutes.” Which is fine... if we were told earlier. FIFTEEN MINUTES pass by again and we flag down another staff and the same thing said “it just has five more minutes, thanks for your patience.” Five minutes pass and the staff bring out a chicken burrito which one of us has ordered and places it on our table, YAY FINALLY FOOD! “Ummm excuse me sorry we gave you the wrong meal we need to take it back.” Well no actually we ordered the chicken burrito but being nice people we are we are like no problems, here you go. ONLY FOR THEM TO TAKE THE FOOD TO THE BIGGER GROUP THAT WE GAVE AWAY OUR TABLE TO... THE EXACT SAME MEAL! We then sit there for another TEN MINUTES and it was this point we were discussing whether we should leave and find somewhere else to eat. I asked my group whether they would be uncomfortable if I asked for some form of compensation considering we have been waiting here for so long and asked everyone if they would like a coke or something. At this point the staff were avoiding us so I had to flag another down and asked if it was possible if we could get some form of compensation for being kept so long with little service and she starts defending herself with “Your meal is coming now! It’s here we don’t need to give you anything, it’s here!” And I said “it may be on its way but we have been waiting here for over an hour for our meals and I do think that for the respect of the customer something should be agreed on, we are happy to settle for a coke each if that is possible. Our meal comes at that moment and the staff member WALKS AWAY! She comes back with two cokes which I found rude considering there were three of us but at least we got something from it so half a star earned in that respect. The food was not good. IT WAS COLD AND TASTELESS. But the chips were very crunchy and yummy. Earned another half a star for that one. DO NOT GO HERE. Absolutely shocking customer service. My partner and I arrived for brunch and were greeted and asked to take a seat and someone would come take our order. We waited 10 minutes in the outdoor seating area and still no sign of service. I went inside and found a menu on another table and we decided quickly what we wanted. Still no service. Finally saw someone seating another couple and we waved her over and requested two Bacon and egg roll specials with coffee. She was quite rude and no smile at all. We queried a simple question whether the coffee could be iced coffee and she said she would check and disappeared inside. Waited 5 more minutes. She came out with other peoples drinks and food order and seemed to have completely forgotten us. Confused, we waved down another waitress who was nearby and she tried to remedy the situation. She was apologetic for the other waitress not returning and then said with a smile and laugh lets start over and pretend you have just been seated. She proceeded to take our order of two bacon and egg meals and two drinks. We received one drink within 10 mins. 25 min later I received the other latte and another 10 min later received my bacon and egg roll which was a runny mess on the plate with no cutlery or napkins. Could not find any service again to ask for this and for my partners meal. I went inside yet again to ask for cutlery. Finished my meal and still no sign of my partners food. Could not find staff to ask about its eta and so gave up and went to pay. Found the first waitress inside taking payment and we asked about his meal. She was incredibly rude and said she didnt take our order but someone else did (suprising to hear she still had no memory of taking our order in the first place). The second waitress showed up. I said two of you took our simple order of two bacon and egg rolls and two drinks yet we did not receive one of the rolls and it took over half an hour to come out. Neither of them had anything to say at all so we left. Absolutely appalling service and will not be going there again. We also witnessed two other couples in the outdoor area be seated without menus and they both gave up on waiting for...

No three words said together in the universe make me angrier than "Coco Cubano Parramatta" and before anyone tells me to get a life, tell me something I don't already know. Someone mentioned it to me yesterday and I got fired up again, avoid this place like the plague. I'll just copy paste my review from 2016 that I left on their facebook page.

1 August 2016 I decided to spend my birthday dinner here after a few good experiences with this restaurant, the night was so unforgettable in a sense that I would definitely not forget how awful the service was, from making the reservation to getting the correct number of plates, utensils, and glasses out.

Reasons we're probably never coming back to the Parramatta branch: -The tables weren't ready when we arrived even when I called 3 times a few days in advance to make sure that they had the time and the number of seats noted -Our server didn't seem to be paying attention--two of my guests ordered 3 double patty burgers that weren't served, after an incredibly long waiting time for burgers (90 minutes, not even kidding), a single burger with one patty arrived. This was incredibly frustrating. -We asked for extra plates and glasses several times before we finally got them, it probably took around 30 minutes before every person had a plate for tapas -The server did not remove the plates from tapas even when we requested it, there wasn't enough room on the tables for mains -It was a cold night and we were sitting outside, we repeatedly ( 4 times) asked if the heater could be switched on. The outdoor heater was switched on after everyone finished their mains and was getting ready to leave, we had been at the place for nearly 2 hours at this point. -the server kept saying yes to our requests but never did anything we asked

I did not spend nearly 500 dollars on my birthday to be constantly annoyed throughout the night due to terrible service by the incredibly passive (aggressive??) and unapologetic server, overall I'd say that the experience was disappointing
