The chicken parmi and fish and chips were simply outstanding. Cooked to perfection, each dish showcased the skill and passion of the BOH (Back of House) team. The chicken parmi was beautifully tender with a crispy golden crust, smothered in just the right amount of cheese and sauce. My recent visit to this establishment left much to be desired. The experience was marked by underwhelming food, misleading claims, and a lack of family-friendly amenities.

The meal I was most looking forward to—a chicken schnitzel, a staple of traditional Australian pub menus—was a major letdown. The portion size was disappointingly small, and the dish lacked the flavor and quality one would expect from a well-executed pub classic. Despite the website’s claim that the kitchen has received awards, there was no mention of what these accolades were, leaving me skeptical of their validity.

The rest of the menu was equally uninspired and mediocre. I ventured to try the prawn and crab pasta, which not only lacked depth of flavor but also left me mildly unwell—a rare occurrence for someone accustomed to dining in a variety of conditions, both locally and internationally.

Adding to the frustration was the misrepresentation of the pub as "family-friendly." There were no facilities for children, making it far from accommodating for families. Instead, the venue is more of a sports bar with an attached mini casino, offering a very average bistro experience rather than the warm and welcoming environment it claims to provide.

"New owner/New vibe"... 🤣🤣🤣 - Yes, a bad one! What's actually changed!?? As a long time regular as far as I can tell the portion size has halved and the prices have gone up! 😂 New chef's in the kitchen too, happy to serve small oily undercooked meals to customers. Made the mistake(again) of going here for a Chicken Parmigiana... and I won't be doing that again anytime soon! The Schnitzel is literally always HALF the size it used to be(kids meal size now...) and now I have to pay $5 EXTRA for a basic side of Veg./Mash!?? The veg.(once again) was not even cooked properly!! Broccoli was undercooked and not even ripe(was white/yellow colour), Green Beans had black/brown rotting area's in them, Corn was undercooked, and I couldn't even eat the disgusting veg. that really should never have even been served on my plate as a result, which I actually had to PAY $5 EXTRA FOR!! 🤣🤣🤣 If you like oily, overpriced small portions of food where you have to pay extra for a side of rotten undercooked vegetables and enjoy listening to the dog/horse races at a high volume whilst you eat your meal - this is the place for you! 😂 Like a TAB that serves food/drinks. Well done new owner's!! Put down the glass pipe you're holding and pull your head out is my genuine advice to the "New owners/New vibe"... Better off going to McDonald's than here now. Won't be coming...
