Lava Bar & Grill Parramatta — Local services in Sydney

As a steak enthusiast I was excited that a new steakhouse was opening locally.

I recently visited Lava Bar and Grill and it’s certainly worth sharing about.

The interior is slick and eye-catching, giving off the vibe of a modern Australian metropolitan steakhouse. This place would be ideal for a date night or catching up with friends.

More importantly let me tell you about the food, I order the following dishes:

Sizzling Garlic Prawns & Foccacia The garlic prawns were meaty and fresh served in a well-sized entrée portion with a delicate zesty note I was expecting traditional handmade Italian-style focaccia but it turned out to be just standard bread.

Wagyu Beef Rump 250g with mash roasted veg This was the highlight of my meal and I ordered medium rare for my steak. The steak was thick, tender and juicy with a rich umami finish The steak was so delicious it didn’t even need the gravy I ordered. Portion sizing was great, I thought I got more than 250g which was even better

Overall I really enjoyed my meal. The service was spot-on with attentive staff and the dishes came out at just the right pace. I’d definitely come back as good quality steak spots with decent portions aren’t easy to find...

Came in on a quiet Thursday which usually is worrisome, but this place did not disappoint and lived up to it's positive Google reviews! The steak was cooked perfectly and had generous sides for the price. We also requested the seafood linguine to be dairy free to meet dietaries, which was easily accommodated. The chef did raise a concern the pasta would be bland without the butter, but they really had nothing to worry about as it was packed with flavor. If you're craving pasta, you should consider this place even though it's probably better known for their grill options. Customer service was also excellent. Felt well taken care of. Would definitely return here when next...

Absolutely fantastic experience at Lava Bar and grill parramatta !! Parramatta locals and we just tried this place for he first time. The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked steaks, packed with flavour, and served sizzling hot. Portion sizes were generous and well worth the price.

The service was just as impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was spot-on from start to finish. Checked up on us multiple times and made sure we were taken care of
