Wow what an unexpected find on our recent trip to Cronulla. You couldn't find better and more friendlier staff if you tried. Despite being very busy they still had time to have a pleasant conversation. The main waitress (possibly the owner) was so passionate about the food it was hard not to get excited. Coffee was about average to good for me, but food quality was outstanding. Some of the bakery goods like the banana bread were to die for - so fresh. I've noticed a few reviews complaining about a Sunday surcharge... I have no issues with that... I definitely don't want to work on a Sunday and if these guys are, they...

If you're looking for specialty coffee, this isn't the place. Great spot if you're just looking for an ordinary coffee from the shop on the corner. However the coffee takes a long time to be made, often won't even be made when it's forgotten, and is grossly overpriced for the level of quality. Most would be happy paying for a batch brew filter on a middle of the road blend if it cost $3 not $6. It's a shame to see a well designed cafe with great food letting itself down with poor quality coffee and service. This place has AMAZING food. And coffee. So amazing that we decided to drive all the way from Macquarie Park to eat here. Unfortunately when we got there, the kitchen had just closed. I explained to Pheobe how far we’d driven, and she was sooo gracious and went and asked the chef if we could eat. He was equally lovely and gracious and opened the kitchen for us.
