It's a good enough KFC. I find most seem to train staff well or hire seemingly good people from the customer service point of view. They don't have to go out of their way to be nice or conversational the transaction is a fairly quick one. Considering the type of talent pool fast food draws from [you don't need a degree or anything] i am typically quite impressed.
Young people might make mistakes like forgetting the sauce and stuff [maybe they never ordered it before]. But will pick up the mistake and fix it pronto. So not perfect but they do seem good to deal with. Like your day will remain neutral from the interaction or be better..
It gets 5 stars because they have cans rather than a drink machine. I am more comfortable with cans because i know people could get drinks mixed up with the pouring ones. If you are counting Kjs best to avoid outlets that don't have the cans and bottles option. Yes you can count Kjs even if you ate fast food in the mix.
The weirdest recent experience was with my flu illness. I would stay home but had things to do. So i picked up some KFC here. I have really good taste. The pepsi max from a can just tasted like sweetener and water.. perhaps watered down.. so maybe my flu made that obvious to me.. sometimes with fake sweeteners i am very aware of that taste of fake sugar. But usually pepsi max is a far superior taste to coke zero or diet coke.. or other beverages of that nature
i checked the can it wasn't out of date.. i dunno maybe they changed the recipe?
i think it's my flu because this morning i woke up and the horrible stuff accumulated in my throat gave off a similar sweet taste.
I was so confused by the drink that i went to the supermarket and bought the sugar versions of coke and pepsi which i never have because of the Kjs. And the weirdest part of all is that it seemed to help me go to the bathroom which is what too much artificial sweetener is meant to do.. no joke.. too much artificial sweetener supposedly has a laxative effect.
for my slow bowel motions the dr said just get some fibre supplement.. instead of spending $10 on that this time i bought some cheap sugar drink [coke, pepsi].. the sugar caffeine drink seems better than any other thing i tried for constipation..
admittedly some coffee has in the past traditionally helped me keep regular.. so maybe it was the caffeine..
i had never had the suppository that factilitates bowel motion until after the incident with the chemist. the other one i wanted is just for itch not encouraging bowel motions.
anyway i hope no staff caught my cold / flu. the chips were not hot enough that day [i coulda taken them back] but this place still rates high for me all and all. The staff are just about as close to perfect in their manner as you could possibly hope for in fast food. They just do the job in a nice simple way focus on the task and never fail to impress me.
paywave didn't work either but it was only out of order temporarily but no drama there. Police were ordering before me so it was nice to see them there all dressed up. bonus.
i know there is debate about putting a tax onto sugar drinks.. so perhaps they have some merits rather than no nutritional value.. i never noticed this before.. i was astounded.
i have been having typically slow bowel motions for so many years now.. i think even when i ate high fibre like cooked oats / porridge multiple times a day. it was so cheap 79 cents for a big bag with many servings.
nothing else in my diet could explain this phenomenon.
the chemist lady had asked about whether i strained but no i didn't usually try to strain things out.. i wouldn't describe my way of dealing with a situation like that in the bathroom.
hope this helps.
i had such an easy good motion with the help of some beverages that have been condemned.
i actually like health promotion but just think the focus should be on helping people achieve their aspirations more so than banning and taxing stuff.. i can accept something like cigarettes is pretty much flat out bad but sugar not so much.. it is an...
Read moreI had a previous order that was missing gravys (provided by a young woman with a headscarf named Maria who I'll cover below). I returned today to get a meal with the replacement gravy, and Mitch (the shift manager) let me know that unfortunately there was no gravy remaining, so he replaced my 2 gravy with 6 small potato and gravy.
He was kind and helpful, as he has been every time I visit and he is on shift.
I previously managed 2 KFC stores myself to pay my way through university, and have been disheartened to see the KFC standards of late, but Mitch showed that he had pride in both his job and his store. I travel a longer distance to go to this specific store because of the quality compared to other nearby stores. If this review were just about him, it would be 5 stars all around - but unfortunately if it were all about Maria below, it would be 0s all around, as "bad service" doesn't begin to cover it.
Although my encounter with Maria this time was only to request her name, her previous behaviour would have resulted in me sending her home on the spot if I were her manager - in one example, a customer simply asked for a bag and she felt the need to argue with and berate him, basically calling him stupid, and then swearing about the encounter as he left, and did so loudly enough for 3 small children to clearly hear and react, with one of the kids repeating the phrase before his mother roused at him and left. Her general attitude was uninviting, made customers feel unwelcome - and gave the impression that they aren't fit to interact with her, as I saw multiple customers apologise to her simply for asking a question like "is that my meal?" as her response was not only harsh, but gave the distinct impression that she felt them too far beneath her to dare address her or ask her questions - it was sad to watch many customers walking away wondering what they had done wrong to earn such an...
Read moreI have been to this kfc for a while but this time really was the worst. All staff were untrained properly from the looks of it as one manager was screaming at the workers at the till for selecting ‘no wings’. Furthermore when it got to my number these two ladies who was sending out orders were very very rude. I believe their names were Klara and Saayeh, both were chatting away. Furthermore I saw unhygienic food handling which is very concerning. As I went to get my order I noticed she either took or put something in my order but I didn’t think much. They both laughed and giggled when I grabbed my order, I left parramatta and soon found out I was missing a burger. Management needs to retrain them as soon as possible or let go of them as customers shouldn’t be treated like this....
