SteamTank Coffee Hornsby — Restaurant in Sydney

One of the things I love about passionate cafes is the consistency that their focus and attention bring to the resulting coffee. Having been a regular here since they opened I can say that while the food menu has changed quite a bit (for the good I am told), the coffee has always been excellent. It tends to be the first place I get coffee from, and occasionally the last on most days.

I love the effort that they go to to ensure customers get the most out of their coffee experience. Using an aeropress for long blacks, brewing fresh chai, and constantly bringing in a range of delicious guest roasts for example, all make a massive difference to compared to your average cafe.

Easily the best choice for coffee in Hornsby.

Asked for a chai with a shot of coffee which they refused to make because the barista didn't believe chai and coffee should go together. If you don't like it, fine. But why force your opinion on someone else? Not sure what these reviews are raving about, latte was very milky. Don't go here if you like a strong coffee.

I only had a coffee, so can't comment on anything else**. This is the second time going and its consistently terrible. I don't review often, but am a big coffee fan. To pay $5 for this is an outrage, a $1 coffee from a servo would be much better, this is not an exaggeration. Its very bitter (coffee machine settings), very hot and overfrothed (burnt milk). The barister frothed the milk in like 5s, completely messed up the milk. Then when putting a lid on overspilled it and had to whip it down. I hate waste, but strongly considered throwing this away it was that bad. Im sorry, people deserve 2nd chances, but for this to be 4.6* and consistently terrible,...
